Nigeria’s premiere of “As Pure as a mother’s love”

Following the Pure Mother’s Love story by Lilian Adjarho, daughter of Mrs Elizabeth Omafuare Adjarho, who nearly gave her life for the sake of her children and entire family as she struggled for their welfare not minding her ill health, internationally acclaimed Playwright and Director, Wole Oguntokun, in partnership with Unilever Nigeria Plc, have put their weight behind bringing the premiere of a stage play titled As Pure as a Mother’s Love’.

The stage play is set to take place on Saturday, 17th November, 2012 at the Muson Centre, Onikan. In attendance of this occasion will be the Deputy Governor and First Lady of Lagos State.

Unilever states that because mothers are precious, they will always be celebrated. Their love is compared to none. It is only the love of a mother that would make her make sacrifices for her children and the entire family, and not relent in her efforts.

The love shared between Lilian and her mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Omafuare Adjarho is one that showcases the purest form of love – that between a mother and her child.

The event, anchored by Teju Babyface will also be attended by other celebrities in the entertainment industry and be broadcast live online.

Lilian said the story was her pure gift to her mother. Unilever and Wole Oguntokun have made it an even bigger and purer gift.

  20. Nice concept indeed and that story is truly touching and inspirational. The woman goes far to that extent not minding if she die just to save her children. It's very good to cook up a story from it to encourage others. There reward is surely on this earth and hereafter.
May God bless our mothers and young ladies need to learn from this. Also as a future wife, you have to respect your mother-in-law for taking care of your hubby as i will do my part. No matter the challenges in your relationship with her, just be patience and apply wisdom. Some men get fret when their wife anger their mother.I will love to watch the movie when out.
