Over 100 people arrested over Mubi killings

Security agencies said yesterday that they have arrested over 100 suspects, including students of the Federal Polytechnic, Mubi, over the killing of at least 25 students of the school on Monday night.

The Adamawa State Police Command didn't release the identity of those arrested but said not all the people arrested are guilty or are directly connected with the crime. They said those found innocent would be released.

A security agent said some of those killed were students of the school that recently won executive posts in the students' union government (SUG) election held recently. He also said there was insider factor in the crime because many of the victims were called by their names before they were killed.

Investigation into the killings is still in progress

  22. This almost brings me to tears. Its so unfair, so sad, How can u just take lives of people abruptly. Didn't you think they had dreams? Didn't you think they had families.
Why the fuck do pple like this exist?
How can u just call people out by their names and execute them?
I can rant forever over this issue but I understand there's nothing I can do about it.
I just wish the families of the deceased persons speedy recovery from this nightmare.

    So sad. So sad.
