Concerned Mothers in Maiduguri in street protest over Boko Haram

The women, who call themselves Concerned Mothers of Borno, took to the streets of Maiduguri yesterday Friday March 9th, canvassing for a stop to the Boko Haram killings and destruction of properties in the north, begging the Islamic sect to sheath their sword and dialogue with government. The mothers said they were tired of losing their young children and husbands and begged the government to quickly do something about the menace. They also urged the Joint Task Force to stop arresting and killing innocent people they label BH members who are not.

Charity they say begins @ home, parents shud live by example, send ur wards to skl, family value shud be preached & encourage, show dem how beautiful dis life can be & how foolish it is to loose one's life fighting on a platform lyk boko & d fear of ǦØD̶̲̥̅̊ shud b instill in them. †ђξ govt too †Ơ̴̴͡ make life easy for †ђξ massess. 4. I see there's a lot og ignorance. Boko haram have been killing maiduguri people for years. Of the almost 2000 deaths by BH, 80% are local borno and yobe states residents and citizens. So, @anonymous, they have been killing northerners from the begining and among them, over 30 prominent local islamic clerics( from across northern nigeria) that have preached against them. The people are scared. I am from maiduguri and I cannot even list how many people I know that have been affected by and or lost members of family to this insurgency. BH doesn't care, they'll shoot whoever oposes them and bomb wherever they see fit regardless of casualty level or religion. The military JTF in borno is the same. So, pls if you don't have anything constructive to say, I suggest you shut it. People say its a war against christians and non northerners when over 1500 muslim and northerners have been killed by BH. Its a war against nigerians. Simple.
