Opa William's Night of a Thousand Laughs comes to an end

After 15 years of staging the comedy show yearly, producer Opa Williams has decided to rest it. Night of a Thousand Laughs was first staged in 1995 and launched the careers of so many comedians, including Basketmouth and Julius Agwu. The last show will hold in January 2012.

  5. Heard he is stopping it because most of the jokes are being recycled a thousand times over. Guess it's a case of bowing out while the ovation is loudest. Smart move. However, he needs to come up with something new. Nothing like a bit of laughter for the soul. Chuckling already.... LOL!!
