Actress and producer, Funke Akindele and crew were harrassed by area boys while filming at Chancellor street, Iraboko awoyaya, Lagos state. She shared the video and said; "Filming now in chancellor street Iraboko awoyaya And area boys are here fighting us. I'm so fed up with these boys. We work so hard. God help us"

Yoruba boys are so lazy. They want to collect money from hard-working people but they dont want to work. Monkey dey work, bamboo dey chop. Area boys my foot. Bunch of lazy idiots!
Funke Akindele please next time when filming in such areas, hire police or even army to follow you. It doesnt cost much to hire them to protect you for some hours
The president should do something about this area boy nonsense. They should sign a bill into law and give them 5 years jail term for any form of harrassment. This is thesame thing as herdsmen. They should kill all of them

This is not new and it doesn't just happen to actors and their crew members. You want to move into a house you just rented= agbero. You want to move out=agbero You bought new gen= agbero You bought land=agbero You want to lay foundation=agbero You want to start building= agbero Before you do decking = agbero Before you even get light into the house sef, you must pay them. This has become very normal in lagos, even if you have police me there, they will still harass you, the only way yout can avoid them is with the Army, but I won't advice anyone to do that because they will frustrate the person in that area.
I swear this is what am going thru now..i want to roof my tiny building ooo, see agbero and the head is busy telling me to give out 200k b4 they let me roof !!! Where will I see that kind of money..
But honestly, Funke while filming, u should get the police to protect u and ur crew.. If the area boys see mopol everywhere ,they wnt come near...the money u may use in hiring mopol sef may not be up to what u will be spending daily on area boys
