ReplyDeletePhew! Quite unfortunate.
ReplyDeleteAnd prior to election, they'll appear to have the masses at heart and after election they feel that can't coexist with the people that voted them in.

Whenever you think you have problems, always remember someone else has it way worse. What kind of Christmas gift is this one now?
ReplyDeleteChai not a good one
ReplyDeleteLINDA, I SPEAK FOR PROPER URBAN PLANNING AND PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT IN ANY COUNTRY. NO PEOPLE OF ANY COUNTRY ARE AS LAWLESS AS NIGERIANS WHEN IT COMES TO DOING THING LEGALLY, THEY BUY LAND ANYHOW FROM ANYHOW PEOPLE , WHO DELIBERATELY DISOBEY THE LAW OF THE LAND ON PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT. HOUSES ARE BUILT WITHOUT APPROVALS, LANDS ARE ACQUIRED WITHOUT PROPER CHECKS. I GIVE MY COMPANY AS AN EXAMPLE, WE NEEDED SOME LARGE EXPANSE OF LAND FOR A PROJECT, THE LAND OWNERS LIED THAT, THE LAND IS NOT WITHIN GOVERNMENT LAND, WE WENT FOR LAND INFORMATION AND FOUND OUT THEY WERE NOT TELLING THE TRUTH, THEREFORE, WE INVITED THEM TO COME WITH US TO THE GOVERNMENT TO CLEAR THE MATTER, THIS DONE, WE PAID BOTH THE GOVERNMENT AND THE TRADITIONAL LAND OWNERS, SIKENA. NO GOVERNMENT, NOR TRADITIONAL OMO ONILE CAN COME NEAR THE SAID LAND AGAIN. PEOPLE SHOULD LEARN TO DO THE RIGHT THING BEFORE ANY PAYMENT TO ANYONE INCLUDING ALL THESE FAKE OLORI EBI AND THE FAKE KABIYESIs.
ReplyDeleteLindiway most of the buildings there are still under construction and touts use it as hideouts to stay and perpetrate their evil deeds on the residents of Abraham Adesanya Estate. Linda take note!
ReplyDeleteBefore this development, the government would have given them a notice before this action commenced but my people won't yield to the warning..
ReplyDeleteIn this recession, I imagine the unimaginable hardship the families will be thrown into.Even with proper notification by the govt about the demolition, who is strong enough to afford rent somewhere?
ReplyDeleteNigerians get the kind of government they deserve.
ReplyDeleteThis is pure wickedness.
ReplyDeleteWithout compensation or prior notice? Can't they sue?
ReplyDeleteChaiya... Sorry People.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry 🙏
ReplyDeleteThis is really sad!
ReplyDeleteThis's terrible

ReplyDeleteI don't understand the logic behind this demolition. We are in recession and all the government could think about is to inflate people with this kind of hardship. I wipe for my dear country
This is just wrong in every ramification.
ReplyDeleteNigerians just like seeing fellow Nigerians suffer. This is heart breaking.
ReplyDeleteVery heart breaking indeed at Anonymous 5.38

ReplyDeleteThis is worst than MMM
ReplyDeleteI am still waiting on the kind of excuse they will come up with this time. BTW, I thought there was a regulatory body that follows up on buildings...meaning they saw these structures from clearing to foundation level. They were waiting patiently for the owner's to waste their hard earned money. Smh
ReplyDeleteand na igbo people houses be that oo
ReplyDeletendi igbo go and build your mansion in the East so ndi yoruba will not finish us..places like owerri, Awka, Nnewi, PH, calabar etc.
ReplyDeleteTHERE IS NOTHING HEARTLESS ABOUT IT, OBVIOUSLY THIS ARE ILLIGAL STRUCTURES, BEFORE BBUYING OR BUILDING A PROPERTY IN AN UNUSUAL PLACE, YOU CAN EASILY FIND OUT IN ALUASA TO BE ON A SAFE SIDE, PURE IGNORANCE FOR THIS BUNCH OF IDIOTS. TIME TO IMPLIMENT THE LAW ON NIGERIAN WITH BAD ATTITUDE AND MANNERS TOWARDS THE LAW OF THE STATE AND FEDERAL
