A 40ft container loaded with stationaries, tipped and fell at Ijora Olopa, Lagos, at about 8.10 am yesterday morning. According to Lagos State Emergency Agency, investigation at the scene revealed that the cause of the accident was due to reckless driving by the container truck driver. While he was trying to make a fast U turn at a roundabout, the truck tipped and fell across the road .
No injury nor mortality was recorded. LASEMA's Emergency response team and LASTMA officials have been able to evacuate the container off the road. More photos after the cut.
