Sickle Cell Aid Foundation (SCAF) ambassador Zahra Buhari and other well meaning Nigerians came out yesterday, May 14 in Abuja to donate blood at the Remembering Awele Memorial Blood drive, in honour of Awele Nwosu Akeh, one of the founding members of the organisation who passed away in 2015 at the age of 25 from sickle cell disorder. More photos after the cut.
