Arsenal legend Robert Pires' 7-year-old son signs deal with Arsenal Academy

His father spent six years at the club and was part of an Arsenal side that lifted two premier league trophies including the famous invincibles. Now young Theo is looking to follow in those large footsteps. The 7-year-old signed a deal with Arsenal's famous Hale End academy and the proud dad couldn't hide his delight as he made the announcement on social media.

'That's it! Theo signed for the Arsenal Academy!!! Well done son!!!! #proud,' Pires wrote on Instagram.
Pires joined Arsenal from Marseille in 2000 and enjoyed six successful years at Highbury.
The 42-year-old won two Premier Leagues, three FA Cups and two Community Shields during his time in North London.
