It was a fun filled action across the three major European football league this weekend as the battle for silverware, promotion places, champions league spots and glory heats up. Here is how things went down on the European football scene over the weekend.

England

In the English league , soon to be relegated side Aston Villa who were bsashed by their own fans were thrashed 4-0 by a rampant Chelsea side whose season seem almost to be over with only a Europa League qualification slot the most possible achievement this season.
Arsenal and Man City also played 4-0 wins over Watford and Bournemouth respectively. Title chasers Leicesters squeezed out a 1-0 win over Southampton while Man U continued their champions league chasing ambition with a 1-0 win over Everton. Anthony Martial was the goal-scoring hero on the day that Old Trafford honoured Sir Bobby Charlton.
  Aston Villa 0 - 4 Chelsea

 AFC Bournemouth 0 - 4 Manchester City

 Arsenal 4 - 0 Watford

 Norwich City 3 - 2 Newcastle United

 Stoke City 2 - 2 Swansea City

 Sunderland 0 - 0 West Bromwich Albion

West Ham United 2 - 2 Crystal Palace

 Liverpool 1 - 1 Tottenham Hotspur

 Leicester City 1 - 0 Southampton

 Manchester United 1 - 0 Everton

Spain

Spanish league came alive on Saturday as the two biggest Spanish clubs Barcelona and Real Madrid battled in 'El Classico' but Real Madrid laughed last after Ronaldo's efforts cancelled out Gerard Pique's goal leaving Real Madrid seven points behind Barcelona..
Atletico Madrid via goals from Fernando Torres, Antoine Griezmann and JuanFran ensured they kept on Barcelona's toes as they aim to win the Spanish league for the second time in three seasons.
Atletico Madrid 5 - 1 Real Betis

 Las Palmas 2 - 1 Valencia

 Barcelona 1 - 2 Real Madrid

Celta Vigo 1 - 1 Deportivo La Coruna

 Germany

Bayern tightened their grip on the top of the table with a hard fought 1-0 win over Eintracht Frankfurt who didn't want to make Pep Guardiola's last games in charge a memorable one.

Dortmund, having one of their best seasons in three years beat Werder Bremen at the Signal Iduna Park via goals from African footballer of the year Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Shinji Kagawa and Adrian Ramos. The German league bereft of much competition is sure going to be Bayern's to lose as the Germans look sure to add another title to their shelves.

Darmstadt 2 - 2 VfB Stuttgart

Hannover 96 0 - 3 Hamburger SV

Ingolstadt 3 - 0 Schalke 04

  12. Few rounds are left until the end of the championship. Manchester United, 5th place in the ranking with 56 points, will meet today Crystal Palace, 16th place in the ranking with 39 points. We hope that the 2 coaches were thought well at the game strategies, so we expect to see many goals.
