Ifeanyi Ubah thanks Obiano. Encourages him to continue his good works

The Chairman of Capital Oil and Gas Industries Ltd, Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, has commended the Anambra State Governor, Chief Willie Obiano, for his good works in enhancing the development of the state, urging him to keep up the good work. Below is the text of Chief Ubah’s statement.

I wish to use this medium to express my profound gratitude to the Executive Governor of Anambra state, Chief Willie Obiano for his working visit to the proposed site for Ifeanyi Ubah Games Village, Industrial Park, Residential Village, Women and Youth Development Centre. I also wish to register my heartfelt appreciation for his effort, leadership prowess and social governance which has brought Anambra state this far.

Ifeanyi Ubah games village is just one of my socio-economic contribution to grassroots development as well as the social development of Anambra state and Africa, by extension. His Excellency's visit to the proposed site on Wednesday, 16th of March, 2016 filled me great joy as it has proven his genuine intention and drive to make a turnaround development in Anambra state. His readiness to encourage all well meaning Anambrarian looking to contribute positively to the growth of our state speaks volume of his calibre. This multi-billion naira games village is to help complement the government's incalculable efforts in bringing growth and development to Anambra state as well as tourist attractions and creation of over 5,000 jobs, which will go a long way in opening up the "home for all" state, Anambra.
It is my staunch belief that the private sector holds the key to the employment of the masses while the onus to provide a conducive and enabling environment, with progressive policies and incentives aimed at fostering industrial socio-economic growth and development lies with the government. The reality and possibility of developing Anambra state rests on our ability to bring those within the Government circle and the Captains of Industries, which Anambra state is greatly blessed with, together, in order to defeat our development snags and hindrances. This is where the Anambra State government under the first-rate leadership of Chief Willie Obiano comes in and excels at, as we continue our quest for public-private synergy for the greater economic good. With the developing synergy,  Anambra state will go places.
By the grace of God, I see this possibility flourishing! My desire to bring this multi-billion games village and other investments home to my state, for the betterment of my people is a loud statement, one I wish all others like myself and in my capacity would emulate.
In all, special thanks goes to the Anambra state government for providing a conducive environment that has spurred the influx of multi-billion Naira investments into Anambra state in the areas of agriculture, industrialization and more recently, the games village. To the Governor of Anambra state, I say a big thank you for your steadfastness in alleviating the plight of Ndi Anambra, especially the civil servants who now get paid their salaries as at when due. I encourage you to continue making history with your giant strides as your capacity to attract investors to a state is currently unparalleled, and for Ndi Anambra, this feat is first of its kind since the creation of Anambra state. Thankfully, these strides have not gone unnoticed as the Sun publishing limited only recently, celebrated your achievements by honouring you with the Governor of the year award. Indeed, Willie is working!!!
I also wish to thank His Excellency for the public endorsement of our plans and vision for Ifeanyi Ubah games village. As he rightly asserted, FC Ifeanyi Ubah's 20,000-seat stadium and the games village are one of a kind and can stand the test of time when compared to any of its type obtainable anywhere in the world. Moreso, it can even be compared to the much admired Wimbledon stadium in London, United Kingdom.
May I end this by thanking the great people of Anambra state immensely for supporting my vision, mission and journey from inception. Your visit to the proposed site yesterday gave me great joy and your belief in my vision strengthens my resolve. This games village is for us all, it is for the betterment of our state. Anambra needs to lead, and we will lead by example.

Thank you and God bless.
Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah
