Wande Coal storms Surulere with Ace Roots

One of naija’s treasures and best vocalists Wande Coal the Black Diamond will storm Surulere this Friday, December 18 with Nigeria’s true low sugar herbal drink, Ace Roots to treat fans to some amazing entertainment. The event will also give talents in the Surulere area an opportunity to display their skills during the Ace Hood Talent Hunt #RepUrRoots.

Ace Roots has been given Lagosians opportunity to show their undying love, commitment and support for their roots at local bars through the the Ace Hood Contest. During the competition, thousands of Nigerians representing 12 hoods participated for a chance to win a brand sponsored Talent Hunt Show

Different Hoods in Lagos (Kosofe, Alimosho, Surulere, Agege, Shomolu, Lagos Mainland, Apapa, Eti-osa, Epe, Mushin, Ikorodu, Amuwo-Odofin, Ikeja, Ojuelegba, Badagri, Lagos Island, IbejuLekki, Oshodi-Isolo, IfakoAlaye) entered the competition by collecting Ace Roots crown corks across over 600 bars in Lagos. Participants won airtime and branded items like T-shirts and umbrellas at the LIVE crown-cork counting. Also each week, the live counting was aired on Wazobia 95.1 FM and Brilla 88.9 FM .Surulerewon the first two which took place in Costain and Sangotedo respectively. Agege won the third counting in Festac. But Surulere rose again and won the final ACE HOOD crown cork counting.

The grand prize being the hood with the most Ace Roots crown-corks which is Surulere gets to host the Ace Roots Rep Your Roots talent show which takes place TODAY THE FRIDAY THE 18^th of December at the Hockey Pitch of the National Stadium, Surulere Lagos.
