Yes he descended so low by involving the social media, family issues shouldn't be made public. but I can reckon with him, uncle Dele wouldn't come public if the issue isn't getting out of hand. I have read all the comments posted in relation to this "Scandal" and as a married Father of Four Children, I am deeply sorry for this Country because most of the views/comments posted reveal how decadent our morals and values have become in this Country. First, David Adeleke (Davido) had a choice. If he rightly claimed the Lady was below his social status, then he should not have dated her, let alone having unprotected sex with her which led to the birth of the Baby! Secondly, nowhere in the World is the right of Parents to tend over their Children denied, nowhere! If in the likelihood that a Parent or both are defaulting in their Children's care, then it is either one of the Parent lays a complaint to Social Services Department (unfortunately due to corruptive activities in Nigeria and the likelihood for such Officials to be influenced by money, joy might not be derived) who in conjunction with the complainant Parent go to Court and the Court based on evidence provided, lays a judgement. It is not for the Grandfather of the Child nor the Aunty of the Child to force down their will based on their whims and caprices because of their "so called status". The rule of law must always apply!!!! And for this Country to get out of the dead woods it currently finds itself, we must apply the rule of law at all times irrespective of who you are! ReplyDeleteI have read all the comments posted in relation to this "Scandal" and as a married Father of Four Children, I am deeply sorry for this Country because most of the views/comments posted reveal how decadent our morals and values have become in this Country. First, David Adeleke (Davido) had a choice. If he rightly claimed the Lady was below his social status, then he should not have dated her, let alone having unprotected sex with her which led to the birth of the Baby! Secondly, nowhere in the World is the right of Parents to tend over their Children denied, nowhere! If in the likelihood that a Parent or both are defaulting in their Children's care, then it is either one of the Parent lays a complaint to Social Services Department (unfortunately due to corruptive activities in Nigeria and the likelihood for such Officials to be influenced by money, joy might not be derived) who in conjunction with the complainant Parent go to Court and the Court based on evidence provided, lays a judgement. It is not for the Grandfather of the Child nor the Aunty of the Child to force down their will based on their whims and caprices because of their "so called status". The rule of law must always apply!!!! And for this Country to get out of the dead woods it currently finds itself, we must apply the rule of law at all times irrespective of who you are! I plead we do not allow our admiration of whatever Davido's successes have been in music, to becloud our judgement in determining what is right and wrong!
