Godswill Akpabio invited by EFCC over alleged multi-billion naira fraud

According to a breaking news report by Premium Times, former governor of Akwa Ibom State and Senate Minority Leader, Godswill Akpabio was invited to EFCC office today. He was reportedly there around 5.20pm this evening accompanied by a few aides and a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN, Ricky Tarfa.

An EFCC source is also said to have confirmed the development. He is reportedly being interrogated over an alleged N108.1billion missing Akwa Ibom money when he served as governor of the state.

  17. Quite funny how the cookies crumbles. A very arrogant and self imposing monkey that feels everything and perhaps everyone lives under his feet. You will have your day in court and we shall see if your Rickey Tarfa was part of the people that laundered the money for you. Barawo. .

  43. Nigerian Lawyers are thieves. They go the extral mile to talk protect thieving politicians to get a share of the stolen money. What a Country that cannot previde laws to court the excesses of Lawyers. To the except a stupid lawyer is assuring the arrested Olufalaye kidnappers that he can defend them. If Nigeria were to be some developed countries, such a lawyer will join the kidnappers in prison.

  44. Hehehehe let the games begin

  45. EFCC has invited Akpabio but won't invite the criminal called Chibuike Amaechi because Buhari benefited from the billions Amaechi stole. The devil that will punish Amaechi and Buhari is very rugged!

    ReplyDelete
  46. So EFCC does not want to invite Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan of Delta State?? If someone like Akpabio, who did a tremendous work in Akwa Ibom then why can't Uduaghan be invited. He was not moved by what Ibori is passing through in syphoning d State.

  51. Atleast he worked when he was a governor. He delivered so I don't give the F word about what EFCC wanna do with him. But I suggest they pursue the bigger criminals... Tinubu and his cohorts. And what did Amechi do by the way when he was the governor of Rivers???! Yet he's on the ministerial list. Nonsense!!!

    ReplyDelete
  52. Don't efcc understand the word workshop?the man worked and he chopped.they left the ones that's didn't work but swallowed all the money with impunity e.g Abia state and they are disturbing a man that transformed a state.they should free him joor.
