No arrest warrant for Saraki- Police

In regards to the controversy generated by the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) order for the arrest of Senate President Bukola Saraki, the police yesterday said they haven't received any order to that effect.
“I am yet to see one”, the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mr. Solomon Arase, said.
The CCT, headed by Justice Danladi Umar, had, in a ruling on Friday, ordered the IGP and other security agencies to arrest Saraki and produce him before Monday to face a 13-count charge bordering on corruption and false declaration of assets.  The order and subsequent bench warrant followed Saraki’s failure to appear before the tribunal for arraignment.

“The police are yet to receive the Code of Conduct Tribunal bench warrant”, ordering the Senate President’s arrest, a statement by the Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), ACP Adebisi  Kolawole, also said, yesterday.

  29. This is the reasonn why Buhari was elected, to stop all these kind of corruption. If it was a poor man, they won't even need a warrant. The Nigerian judiciary is one of the worse on earth. Buhari, pls sanitize the judiciary

  31. PDP is really the problem with Nigeria. I don't even know what Mr Secondus is doing with them. He is the only God fearing man I know there. Personally any day they try to remove him as chairman, I will personally cut off every tie with this party that doesn't want Nigeria to move forward. They defend corruption with all their blood.

  33. APC is at the point of loosing the Senate President Seat should anything happen to Our Hon. Senator Saraki.
And if this how APC will be tormenting their own, Our senators should always look their back.
This is the highest point of God Fatherism at work. Who stop Tinubu's case with CCT in 2013? What was the out come? Now he(Tinubu) wants to use same channel to hit another person.
If i were in that Senate and i am supporting Saraki and they venture to impeach or eject Saraki, we shall end up voting Sen. David Mark into power.
    God bless
