Akpabio who had some injuries on his chest after the accident, was rushed to the Trauma ward of the National Hospital Abuja for treatment. He was discharged on Monday evening but was flown abroad yesterday afternoon at about 1pm aboard his private jet.
Airport sources however say he looked fit when he arrived the airport at about 12 noon. He traveled with 5 of his aides.

"His private jet" "with 5 of his aides"! This Nincompoop never had this luxury before he became governor. These crooks will steal our money, and "eat" it right in our face daring us to do our worse! They then set us off on an APC-PDP beef. We now come on social media insulting ourselves forgetting they're all thieves. When are we ever going to collectively gather the liver to begin to lynch these criminals of our patriarchy? Some folks on this blog were saying they were happy he came out alive after the accident. I never took that position. If you see the way these men harass innocent drivers out of the road and sometimes into the bush, you will agree with me that he didn't need any pity.

ReplyDeleteSo he doesn't trust our Nigerian doctors
ReplyDeleteAs my heart goes out to Senator Akpabio in his recovery process after being flown abroad,I can but wonder why in his uncommon transformation of his state he did not deem it fit to develop a world class healthcare programme?
ReplyDeleteApakbio ur cover by God blood wishin u quick recverin
ReplyDeleteFor what reason, wen he's said to be fully fit?
ReplyDeleteI thot that was AkwaIbom State Jet, so it's now his own jet... if na amaechi now una for don dey. talk nonsense... I thot they said he built a world class hospital, why is he not going there...

ReplyDeleteAhn Ahn senator and former governor of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Why didn't you stay in your beloved country to complete your recovery under our fantastic health care system now?
ReplyDeleteJesus please heal him...
ReplyDeleteWhat happen to the state-of-art, first of its kind international hospital he built in Uyo?
ReplyDelete#bringbackourmoney.
Is he saying he does not trust the hospitals in his state (which he managed for 8 yrs by the way) for intial diagnosis? Just shows the hyposcrisy of Nigerian leaders!
ReplyDeleteIn developed climes he should be fined for violating traffic rules!
haba....he would have jus gone to oga chemist for few pain killer na...or shud have visited the general hospital
ReplyDeletehaba....he would have jus gone to oga chemist for few pain killer na...or shud have visited the general hospital
ReplyDeleteObviously, that's how it works, I was waiting to hear that!!
ReplyDeleteCan u imagine? With his private jet! That is former governor oh!
ReplyDeleteLinda.Akpabio does not have a private jet!
ReplyDeleteOne of the things we are expecting from our President is to equip hospitals, raise it up to standard that we don't need to seek treatment from abroad. one of the reasons why they still is this, if we can get everything we need here what is the essence of travelling out for treatment. pls equip our hospitals and pay good attention to the doctors.
ReplyDeleteThey just want to waste money. Why travel abroad for treatment when u can get the best treatment for such case here in Nigeria.
ReplyDeleteYour excellency when you were governor in charge of billions did you not see it fit to develop a world class hospital in your state?
ReplyDeleteNo you were busy giving state money to musicians, politicians and sycophants who surrounded you and made you feel you were invincible.
Well you're not invincible I are you?
May God mercifully grant you a speedy recovery
One day you won't make it on time to the private jet.. Should have spent your states well in providing a befitting hospital
ReplyDeleteMy prayer is- he would never return alive, bastard politician- embezzle state development funds, and as-soon-as something happen to them, they fly oversee for treatment, while common people die . Linda if you liked don't post my comment.
ReplyDeleteThis is a big slap 2 our Health sector ;get well soon
ReplyDeleteWhich one did he build when he was in Power ?? His End is near Idiot
DeleteThey should bring him back and send him to one of the 'ultra modern hospitals' he built as governor. I wonder why he didn't insist that they treat him at one of his ultra modern hospitals.

ReplyDeleteAll d best sir
ReplyDeleteToo much money Dats y he ain't satisfied with Nigeria treatment
Senseless black leaders breaking laws since 1900. They chase the common man from the road with their convoy.
ReplyDeleteMy prayer is-may he died oversee and they return his corps to us. Dead be his portion-after ruling for 8-years,no standard and well equip hospital in Uyo or Nigeria. Death to him and all his family, who stole from masses.
ReplyDeletesee what impatience has caused! http://www.bummyla.com
ReplyDeleteMay God help us to value our country better. Linda u are good at not posting my comment, dat's ur business
ReplyDeleteNawa sha. It seems this war on kwarraption get as ebee. Soon after the senate minority leader and some of his senate associates wrote a letter denouncing or washing off their hands from Lamorde's (EFCC) probe, somehow/another, the CIA's convoy rear-ends Akpabio's car. Is that a mere coincidental "accident" or what? Now, Akpabio was one of PDP's staunchest governors who ensured the baton was passed to another PDP aspirant despite a formidable APC opposition. There are rumblings the tribunal judges to look into recent election malpractices are largely, hand picked and malleable ones by the APC who seek to over-turn election results in Akwa Ibom, Rivers & Taraba states.
ReplyDeleteJust wondering if all these events/"accidents" are some how connected. If they are linked, then the war against kwarraption has taken a different dimension-o, albeit, a very under-handed and sinister one. QED@atm
The whole thing was planned. He's running from Buhari's Axe.
ReplyDeleteGOD JUST THOUGHT YOU A LESSON FOR NO REASON SHOULD ANYONE BE ABOVE THE LAW, WHILE BREAKING TRAFFIC RULE ESPECIALLY YOU THAT KNOWS THE LAW. THE LAW IS NOT FOR THE POOR TO OBEY RATHER FOR EVERYONE.
ReplyDeleteMAY GOD HEAL YOU SPEEDILY.
EPELE SIR

Could it be part of hiding his loot overseas. Knowing that the US is saying it will take time to recover looted funds already stolen.
ReplyDeleteAlso bear in mind the prosecution of corrupt politicians is about to begin in September as promised by Buhari.
Wish him quick recovery
ReplyDeleteThe private jet is the jet bought with Akwa Ibom money when he was Governor. It cost $45 million. The present Governor (his planted successor) does not even have access to the jet, yet, it has become Akpabio's private jet. Interestingly, Akpabio has still not moved out of Government House,Uyo! The current Governor, Udom Emmanuel, is operating out of his private residence in Ewet Housing Estate, Uyo. Sad.
ReplyDeleteHmmm, Private Jet? Una too dey lie. Abeg Linda no report wetin no be true o. Abi na to get followership u dey find? How Akwa Ibom State Jet come become Godswill's Private Jet??????? Social media too dey carry fake gist. Abeg make una go confirm who get that Jet o. Na the state and not Godswill........
