Soon CNN and the rest of idle Americans will make it an international issue: "Rare hippopotamus killed by locals". Then Jimmy Kimmel will cry on air and they will beam the hippo's picture on the Empire State building, then PETA will insist that all the locals should be executed and so on and so forth.
ReplyDeleteStupid Americans! Why did they not react with the same passion and anger when over 140 people were killed in a Kenyan university this year?

DeleteAmericans will still come here now to say rubbish I guess. You have killed #NnenaTheHippo. Fucking americans who don't know that this wild animals terrorize the locals.
ReplyDeletePoor Hippo! An endangered specie that need to be protected and adored as a tourist attraction has been triumphantly and criminally murdered for food by some hungry farmers. What a pity!
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately all we know in Africa is to kill and eat.
DeleteAs in, it's really a pity. And see all the ignorant people here shouting "see meat" "see meat"... is the Hunger so bad? no meat to buy in the market again? A hippo is not a violent animal unless when protecting it's kids and territory. It is a herbivore. Perhaps it was eating produce from their farms and that's what they're referring to as "terrorizing". How hard would it have been for them to heavily barricade their farms against it and kept their distance whenever it was around? Instead, all their weak brains could think about was to kill it. See that foolish one posing and smiling near it sef. Disgusting humans.
DeleteSo wat do dey do wit d animal now? Is it edible?
ReplyDeleteNigerians dont like to carry last sha, na to start our own hashtag na. I foresee David The Hippo trending very soon. hehehehehehe
ReplyDeleteSomething wey dem suppose take to ibadan zoo y dem kill am ......kai!!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteWhy these animals killing these hippos? Hungry wicked people.
ReplyDeleteWhat a shame that they have to kill the innocent animal. Why didn't they hand it to the appropriate authorities?
ReplyDeleteThat is one huge animal. Where and how did it get there?
ReplyDelete#TeamBlessed#
Oh boy! See correct pepper soup meat. Lolzzzz.
ReplyDeleteNice one frm them and I apr8 d fact dat they had to jointly do d hunting so dat they can end d nuisance disturbing their farmland's.

Good experience
ReplyDeleteChaii...See correct meat ooo.
ReplyDeleteIN THE SAME WAY, THEY SHOULD PLS HELP US HUNT DOWN BOKO HARAM GUYS. LOLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
ReplyDeleteI don't get why man has to be evil in his ways! Why do they have to kill it?! Why? Why?? Why??? It just shows how wicked man's heart is. You did not create it (Thank God, HE has not given you such powers), yet derive pleasure destroy things that you have no powers to create.
ReplyDeleteWhen the creature came to this world (just like you) he didn't asked to be created as a hippo but found itself like that (just like you). Why is it that, man find it amusing to kill anything (even his kind) for flimsy excuses. God gave man dominion over the earth does not mean he has to be irresponsible.
By time man kill all the wild life on earth, I wonder what will be left for future generations...short sighted lots!
AA.
It will remain U to kill...na correct meat be that hypocrite
DeleteBIIIG and Massive.... check 411reports.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteGod help Nigeria.when other countries in Africa are trying to protect wildlife animals and using it as tourism. Here we are happily hunting it down and nobody is questioning who!!
ReplyDeleteSo true. Poor Hippo!!
DeleteI need my share biko. Enuf beefing, fishing and chickening. Its time to hippo around
ReplyDeleteThis is big meat. See im nyash.
ReplyDeleteThis will pain Americans o. Rallies, protests and calls for sanctions against Nigeria for "disturbing hippopotamus". Animals wey be say the only place wey dem really nice na for nursery school rhymes. The rhymes don enter white man head. Dem think say na all lions be Simba the cartoon character.
ReplyDeletebut whyyyyyy? they should have sent it to the museum instead of killing it.
ReplyDeleteWho is responsible for wildlife in the country?
Na me.....any problem?
DeleteMuseum? It belongs in a zoo.
Deletegullible africans that have no value for nature...Until all animal go extinct ,all in their brain is eat ,eat bush meat ,glutton...
ReplyDeletevery big bush meat and more dangerous than lion
ReplyDeleteWe Nigerians don't appreciate nature. The animal should have been reported to those in charge of wild life to take charge of it. They have killed it. There will be retaliation. If we don't encroach on it's territory it will not come terrorizing them. What a beautififul hippo?
ReplyDeleteSuya eaters una dooh.... #onelovefromsnow#
ReplyDeletevery huge bush meat and more dangerous than lion
ReplyDeleteHippos are protected all over thw world. Low lifes in Gombe are ecstatic over the killing of this rare creature. What will you tell your grandchildren? That you ate up your nature reserves?
ReplyDeleteBloody barbarians!
I dey vex for this thing
ReplyDeleteHmm I neva knew that such animal exist in this country
ReplyDeleteFree suya for the whole village
ReplyDeleteMy question is why do dey hv to kill it? Lolo1
ReplyDeleteso where did it come from...have they thought of that. they should also know that something that size has a mother, possibly father, brother(s), sister(s), cousin(s) etc who may be very angry if their relative don't come back home tonight! Just a thought.
ReplyDeleteSad! In my way this creature should ve bin preserved instead of killed. Never seen an hipo b4, would ve brought more money and attention tourism wise than becoming a meat for locals.
ReplyDeleteU.S will want an arrest for the killer of this Hippopotamus..go pain them..lol.
ReplyDeleteThis is wildlife & shd be protected in a game reserve. Not hunted down & killed.
ReplyDeleteWhithal thou Nigeria
ReplyDeleteI didn't know that there were hippos in the North or Nigeria for that matter, expect in game reserves of course. This guy is HUGE
This is really big. Pls they should not eat the meat; though Muslims don't eat dead animal to avoid any outbreak of disease
ReplyDeleteWhy are we nigerians so daft. Killing an endangered specie simply because it was terrorizing the locals. We have zero affinity for nature. They should have alerted the local authority or use tranquilizer.
ReplyDeleteHIP for the HIP for the HIP POPO and PO PO for the Hippopo and TAMUS for the Hippopotamus..HIPPPOTAMUS!!!
ReplyDeleteToo bad
ReplyDeleteI didn't know we had hippos in naija
ReplyDeleteToo bad
ReplyDeleteToo bad
ReplyDeleteVery wrong ,why can't they call animal experts and used tranquiliser to subdued the rare hippo, then take the animal back to his nor habitat or the zoo . Only few are left in the world.
ReplyDeletelasgidi no de carry last ooo. wish its in lag omo they 4 don de share am. trust my people.
ReplyDeleteUnnecessary killing, don't they have a game reserve in Bauchi. It is not the locals fault, the government does not have a clear policy on hunting hippos. Also, not all hippos meat are delicious.
ReplyDeleteWetin be this our hippopotamus name, if Zimbabwe can name their lion Cecil
ReplyDeleteNigerian CECIL!!! but pots go full for that area ! trust naija people
ReplyDeletewowwww... this is really big. I just wish it could be kept alive for wild life. It is a great lost to wilder life
ReplyDeletePepper soup don land. Chai!
ReplyDeleteWooow
ReplyDeleteIts big o
ReplyDeleteEyaaa,y did d kill it na, jst rembered d H.I.P for d hip for d hipopo lol
ReplyDeleteEyaaa,y did d kill it na, jst rembered d H.I.P for d hip for d hipopo lol
ReplyDeletewowwww
ReplyDeleteThose called Americans stupid, are rather the stupid vision,es ones. One of Africa's treasures its is one of a kind wildlife .. A treasure that brings in millions of dollars from tourists worldwide. But stupid barbaric Africans kill everything in sight. They bleach their dark skin and cover their hair with foreign looking hair..... Then we have the nerve to be outraged when white people, and every other race for that matter don't take us seriously, and certainly do not respect us. Why should they? We don't appreciate ourselves or our continent. You go and kill a bald eagle in America or even an endangered bear, see how you will be arrested with the quickness. Foolish Africans.
ReplyDeleteGod punish all you godforsaken fools on this blog that have/give no regards to preservation of wildlife and all you care is your retarded sarcophagus bile-bitten urge for suya. Go and eat shit
ReplyDelete
