    8. You just took it out of my mouth Anonymous 1:54. The level of ignorance in Nigeria is alarming. You won't believe that English people here in the UK don't even kill bugs. There are farming Bees. There is so much to fix starting with the people.

Soon CNN and the rest of idle Americans will make it an international issue: "Rare hippopotamus killed by locals". Then Jimmy Kimmel will cry on air and they will beam the hippo's picture on the Empire State building, then PETA will insist that all the locals should be executed and so on and so forth.

Stupid Americans! Why did they not react with the same passion and anger when over 140 people were killed in a Kenyan university this year?

      Delete
    2. As in, it's really a pity. And see all the ignorant people here shouting "see meat" "see meat"... is the Hunger so bad? no meat to buy in the market again? A hippo is not a violent animal unless when protecting it's kids and territory. It is a herbivore. Perhaps it was eating produce from their farms and that's what they're referring to as "terrorizing". How hard would it have been for them to heavily barricade their farms against it and kept their distance whenever it was around? Instead, all their weak brains could think about was to kill it. See that foolish one posing and smiling near it sef. Disgusting humans.

  73. I don't get why man has to be evil in his ways! Why do they have to kill it?! Why? Why?? Why??? It just shows how wicked man's heart is. You did not create it (Thank God, HE has not given you such powers), yet derive pleasure destroy things that you have no powers to create.

When the creature came to this world (just like you) he didn't asked to be created as a hippo but found itself like that (just like you). Why is it that, man find it amusing to kill anything (even his kind) for flimsy excuses. God gave man dominion over the earth does not mean he has to be irresponsible.

By time man kill all the wild life on earth, I wonder what will be left for future generations...short sighted lots!

  79. but whyyyyyy? they should have sent it to the museum instead of killing it.

  81. very big bush meat and more dangerous than lion

    ReplyDelete
  82. We Nigerians don't appreciate nature. The animal should have been reported to those in charge of wild life to take charge of it. They have killed it. There will be retaliation. If we don't encroach on it's territory it will not come terrorizing them. What a beautififul hippo?

    ReplyDelete
  91. Sad! In my way this creature should ve bin preserved instead of killed. Never seen an hipo b4, would ve brought more money and attention tourism wise than becoming a meat for locals.

    ReplyDelete
  95. This is really big. Pls they should not eat the meat; though Muslims don't eat dead animal to avoid any outbreak of disease

    ReplyDelete
  96. Why are we nigerians so daft. Killing an endangered specie simply because it was terrorizing the locals. We have zero affinity for nature. They should have alerted the local authority or use tranquilizer.

    ReplyDelete
  97. HIP for the HIP for the HIP POPO and PO PO for the Hippopo and TAMUS for the Hippopotamus..HIPPPOTAMUS!!!

    ReplyDelete
  98. I didn't know we had hippos in naija

    ReplyDelete
  99. Very wrong ,why can't they call animal experts and used tranquiliser to subdued the rare hippo, then take the animal back to his nor habitat or the zoo . Only few are left in the world.

  108. Those called Americans stupid, are rather the stupid vision,es ones. One of Africa's treasures its is one of a kind wildlife .. A treasure that brings in millions of dollars from tourists worldwide. But stupid barbaric Africans kill everything in sight. They bleach their dark skin and cover their hair with foreign looking hair..... Then we have the nerve to be outraged when white people, and every other race for that matter don't take us seriously, and certainly do not respect us. Why should they? We don't appreciate ourselves or our continent. You go and kill a bald eagle in America or even an endangered bear, see how you will be arrested with the quickness. Foolish Africans.

    ReplyDelete
  109. God punish all you godforsaken fools on this blog that have/give no regards to preservation of wildlife and all you care is your retarded sarcophagus bile-bitten urge for suya. Go and eat shit
