President Buhari appoints Mohammed Kari as NAICOM boss

President Buhari has appointed Alhaji Mohammed Kari as the new Commissioner for Insurance and Chief Executive of the National Insurance Commission, NAICOM. According to a statement released today by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, Mr Kari's appointment, which is for a term of four years, takes effect from today July 31st.

      Gej did the same . Only reason it was not obvious was because he had 36 ministers one from each state first ( which Gmb shall also do because its constitutional). Then gave all the parastatals to mainly southerners. I don't support what he is doing because it creates division .       Do you realize there are six geographical zones in Nigeria and the north ALONE has three zones? So be considerate and know the ratio being used (3:1) ie for every three appointments in the north, one either goes to the south south, south west or south east. We should therefore stop being myopic.

You are everyday violating the Constitution of the Federal Republic by appointment not based on Federal Character. Even Goodluck jonathan, most of the people he appointed to various positions were of northern extraction. So if your appointment won't reflect Federal Character, what the hell are you doing in the seat of the Presidency. Under two months of your administration, it has been blunder upon blunder.
