Whether she decides to take him back or not is none of our business. An apology cannot take away the pain that's already been inflicted. Toke needs to do some soul searching to figure out if she can continue with her marriage. I don't like that he apologised publicly before their reconciliation. Call it courageous or whatever, I think Maje is counting on people reaction to help induce her decision and it's not fair. This is funny, I find Nigerians to be mostly gullible in nature, no offence intended ( I'm a caucasian who loves the Nigerian people and culture). I don't understand what is brave about publicly apologising to a wife you publicly humiliated. That's the least he can do!

This apology even though it seems enough for other people to say Toke please forgive him, it doesn't erase some hard questions that I think the wife should get answers to now, while she still can.
Considering he dated the other woman for such a freaking long time, and thought to have a baby with her ( believe me, its not a mistake) shows that he knows exactly what he's doing.
Please Toke do what's best for YOU, for your peace of mind and sanity..do not listen to the opinion of society, cos only you should have the right to decide about your life.
Ask him the hard questions.
1. Why did he continue dating her for so long, even after u guys got married.
2. When & Why did he decide to get her pregnant. Cos after dating for so long,trust me they talked about it n decided to make a baby. They may have even been actively trying for a while.
3. What kind of relationship does he hope to have with d child and its mother?
4. Does he ever plan on 'seeing' her again or carrying on with d existing relationship. Even though you expect the answer to be obvious, he might answer you truthfully if he still wants to and if he says he doesnt, you can hold him to hisword in the future.
5. Does he truly and genuinely love you (Toke)...I somehow find that hard to believe.
6. Is he truly remorseful and does he genuinely want to carry on being your husband or is he just being pressured and shamed into submission by folks, friends & society.
Now asses his answers and ask your self some hard hitting questions as well including if you truly love him regardless of his straying ways and if you are willing to deal with the baby mama drama forever (cos trust me, if the other woman can happily get pregnant for your man, even though he's married, then she never saw him as yours in the first place, and now that she has his child, she is never going away!)
If you can't deal, please walk away...but then again, that may be what they wanted to achieve in the first place... That you get upset, leave him and she can move in & claim the price.
