Dr Ngozika Orjioke,
the Nigerian born Pulmonolgist-Intensivist at Atlanta Medical Center, Atlanta,
Georgia has arrived in Nigeria for the US Medical residency event
organized by Pocket Presents and Business day. The event is holding at Four
Points by Sheraton on July 4, 2015 at 10am and there are limited spaces
available for medical students and doctors interested in doing their medical
residency in the USA. (Event link http://bit.ly/USMedicalResidency)
Arriving earlier in the week, she
took a trip to Mgbowo, Awgu LGA, Enugu State where she offered free medical
advice and care to members of the community who were excited to welcome their
daughter home.
Talking to Journalists and
bloggers about the event, she said;
“I am really excited about the
opportunity to be a part of this event. Many years ago I found myself facing
the same dilemma that many doctors and medical students are facing right now. I
had just finished from the University of Calabar and had some working experience,
but I had the yearning for more knowledge and the US Medical residency afforded
me the opportunity to gain exposure and train in some of the best medical
facilities in the World.
For everyone that gains access to
the US Medical residency, they get the opportunity to gain knowledge that they
can share with others in Nigeria and help to build the medical practice here”
