Buhari sacks DG SSS, announces replacement

President Buhari has sacked the Director General of the State Security Service SSS, Mr Ita Ekpeyong (pictured above) and has appointed Mr Lawal Daura as his replacement.

Mr Ekeyong's sack was contained in a statement released and signed by the Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Danladi Kifasi.

The new DG was born in Daura on August, 5, 1953 and attended the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria from 1977 – 1980. Mr Daura's appointment is with immediate effect.

      around him in as much as they are people with proven
      charcter. Jonathan once sacked Sanusi and replaced
      him with a regional brother from the south-south, he
      had key ministers all brothers from same region of
      south-south and south-east, even he appionted head of
      the police force from same region, so what are we
      saying? What is good for Okon is also good for Adamu.

      When President Jonathan from the South South had
      Ekpenyong as DG SSS from the South South it was
      never an issue. But President Buhari from the North
      must not have a DG SSS from the North because he
      would be criticized. Nigeria has gone beyond that. I
      think President Buhari is simply learning to adopt the
      standard of Jonathan. Other Nigerians have learnt some
      lessons in governance from Jonathan. Same standards
      should be adopted for more appointments.

      The point of electing him was not so he would become like former leaders but to unite Nigeria and set a good example for future leaders. What happened to #change.     I don't understand why all his major appointments are from the north. I supported him with all my strength and prayers even when I had a dream his people shot me on the head. I felt it was just a dream but I'm beginning to doubt this man really considers other Nigerians.     This is the beginning of it all. i am laughing in greek. Suddenly the fulani hausas are the most intelligent smart people in Nigeria, oh forgive my ignorance people. Nigeria is only the northerners and a few of the westerners. Of all the people so far appointed, there is no Christian fulani or Notherner neither a westerner. Born to rule syndrome has started again. But again, what they could not achieve with the barrel of guns, they think they can now with our half baked democracy. I am so glad we are still talking democracy. Soon we will have a referendum to determine truly if Nigeria will remain one or Biafra will come to exist. Let them play into our hands, is obvious the are slower upstairs. I like this game playing out so that the world will see that reverend fathers do really wear trousers. we will not go to war but Nigeria will surely break and break it will peacefully. is only but time no matter how long it takes.Note Palestine in the old comprised of todays Isreal. If President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan had appointed somebody from Otuoke as the DG of SSS/DSS, the whole South West and Northern news media will run a mock fuming from all the orifices in their bodies. President M. Buhari has appointed a woman who PDP alleged has "close relationship" with him into INEC and his village man as DG of DSS/SSS and every person is keeping quiet. Meanwhile under his watch, his agency disgraced Nigerians by making a pubic statement that the opposition was trying to hack INEC's website just because of the tutorials on Certified Ethical Hacker exams that was found there.
