  31. im not sure if that will work smoothly....the state Governors will not be stupid enough to use this bail out money for something....we know they are stupid, but they cant be that stupid...i don't think they can....and thanks for you concern mr Bruce keep eyeing the presidential seat shogbo

    ReplyDelete
  32. That would be nice. And a commission that will override the state account office supervision. Cos most also are filled with ghost workers. You know I mean...hope it works cos I will be glad to see parents faces filled with smiles...

    ReplyDelete
  33. How will it be organize? There still needs to be a body to organise the payments and distribute it as it should be. I understand your concern sir but we need governors in this case.

    ReplyDelete
  34. We all know that will not happen, the state govt will collect the money & use it for another purpose

    ReplyDelete
  35. That is the best idea cos dis governors ll still want to divert part of the money to their private pockets

    Ubanagum

    ReplyDelete
  36. I wish too because these governors are nothing but thieves

    ReplyDelete
  37. Don't let your fellow politicians plan for you oooo! though you are making a lot of sense with your recent utterances!

    ReplyDelete
  38. Ben Bruce its thesame you guys that talk about seperation of power. How can Buhari bypass the governors and go straight to workers? Wontvit breed animosity between the federal and state executive? The most Buhari can do is for the governirs to be held accountable for the bailout

    ReplyDelete
  39. That would have really nice but I don't think is possible

    ReplyDelete
  45. That would have been the best, but the corrupt and crazy governors will first, pay themselves before the workers

    ReplyDelete
  46. It would have been the best, but in a country like ours where the money will be paid to the governors directly. Dont expect them to get their monies. Ghost workers will be paid first. Na them go still thief the money jare.

  59. We wishhhh! It's something they can do! All dis wicked governors. Selfish fools

    ReplyDelete
  60. That would have been the best. However, there should be a process to make that possible otherwise they will be confusion and cases of missing funds and multiple ghoast workers

  61. Yes it is called Direct cash transfers , one of the ways that development agencies advocates (after very many researches) that should be incorporated in development of the resource rich countries like ours who are "paradox of plenty" because of bad governance.

  65. Bruce is right on point. Can the initial decision be rescinded to ensure workers and pensioners are paid directly? If, not this time, going forward, can Bruce state in clear terms, how this can be achieved expediently in similar situations?

    ReplyDelete
  66. Conditional cash transfers i suppose
