"There is a limit to what I can do" Femi Adeshina says Pres. Buhari was misunderstood

President Buhari's Special Adviser on Media & Publicity Femi Adesina says the President's comment 'There is a limit to what I can do" does not mean he is not fit to run the country effectively because of his age. Adesina said the President's comment means that he is just like old wine that gets tastier and has in quantum, the wisdom, the patience, temperance and forbearance that age brings. 6. Lol! Femi Adesina 'man can not cheat nature' and "out of the abundance of the heart speaks the mind". Buhari said what he mean't. There is no bending it another way or will you give him the fruit of everlasting youth?. Get real.

  16. Lol: old wines are tastier. What a comparison. He forgot sometimes the bottle & cork gets corroded with time and the wine may not taste better, after all. Just saying. Better to prevent his principal from these types of gaffes going forward instead of trying to clean up spilled milk.

  23. What a load of crap! The President spoke from his heart that he is 72 and old age would affect him. Stop trying to sugar-coat it! The newspapers reported what he said verbatim! You are just trying to derive a positive twist to it and I am not buying!

  27. I think this guy (Adesina) is ok for the job of Buhari spokesperson. That Garba is unfit for the position

    ReplyDelete
  28. What the President said is a statement of fact and i dont think anyone really should interpreted it to mean he's lacking in capacity to lead.

The President's media team/aide should not try and put any spin around the statement. Their unnecessary explanation do more damage than good. Beside the president spoke in English so Femi Adesina trying to explain what he said to us is highly uncalled for.

Dealing with issues like this is why me-think why its better to have a very experienced and creative pr professional as media aides instead of appointing journalist as government spokespersons. But in 9ja, no be so, na so so Journalist, newspaper reporter, non practicing doctor they appoint as government spokesperson.

  29. I think Buhari should have kept that to himself. What we need now are words of hope. Its too early to start complaining about his limitations. Afterall he knew he was 72 when he was campaigning. He should learn to delegate. Thank God he has a capable VP

  30. Mtchewwwww. He just said absolute nonsense. Keep playing with youths head. Foolish people. Buhari is old, he is old. Stop the plenty talk and start the change process
