Nigeria military's control centre has now reportedly moved to Maiduguri

According to BBC, the Nigerian Army's spokesperson Colonel Sani Usman says the Nigerian military's command center has now been relocated to Borno state as directed by President Buhari in his inaugural speech.
"The team has already commenced work in earnest," Col Usman said in a statement released today.
The statement also added that all senior military officers will relocate to the north east., the bedrock of Boko Haram crisis.

  12. NIGERIA IS NOT UNDER A MILITARY DICTATORSHIP GOVERNMENT. NIGERIA IS A DEMOCRATIC COUNTRY WITH A DEMOCRATIC GOVERNMENT. MUHAMMADU BUHARI IS DAMN TOO BUSH, AND MUST BE TOLD TO RESPECT THE NIGERIAN CONSTITUTION, AND STOP TAKING UNILATERAL DECISIONS, AND INGNORING THE CONSTITUTION AND THE LEGISLATURE. HE MUST BE STOPPED FROM ACTING LIKE A DICTATOR. MUHAMMADU BUHARI, AS A CIVILIAN PRESIDENT HAS NO RIGHT TO UNILATERALLY RELOCATE THE NIGERIAN MILITARY CONTROL CENTRE WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF THE LEGISLATURE. IF HE'S NOT CHECKED, THAT IGNORANT AND ARROGANT MAN CAN UNILATERALLY DRAG NIGERIA INTO EXTERNAL WAR OR CIVIL WAR.

HE TOOK FASHOLA AND SHETIMA TO GERMANY TO REPRESENT NIGERIA, BUT THEY'VE NEVER BEEN CLEARED BY THE LEGISLATURE TO ACT OR REPRESENT THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OF NIGERIA.

MUHAMMADU BUHARI IS DELIBERATELY AND INDIRECTLY ACTING AS A MILITARY HEAD OF STATE. THAT ERA IS PAST, AND THAT MAN MUST BE REMINDED TO ACT IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE NIGERIAN CONSTITUTION, AND RESPECT THE LEGISLATURE. BUHARI IS PRESIDENT, BUT HE THINKS HE'S HEAD OF STATE AND MONARCH.

BY HIS FOOLISHNESS, HE IS REWRITING THE CONSTITUTION AND SETTING A VERY BAD PRECEDENT. HE SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED.

  14. The difference between the past government and the present is they are doing more work and less talk.

For the sake of all of us,I pray for Gods direction for our leaders.I think it could also be the military training in PMB,he's facing his reasons for vying for president while ignoring or seeming to ignore the distractions. Its well with Nigeria and Nigerians.amen

  17. Excellent. The week is starting with a very good news.
This is promise well kept, and I like the idea of all senior military personnels moving to maiduguri too.
Gone are the days the so called senior officers sit in the barracks and acquire undeserved promotions without working for it.

  18. Clueless Buhari, so when Boko Haram moves their headquarters to Yobe the military headquarters will move there too. This shows the analog thinking president Nigeria has, he's still using his old and outdated military mentality to tackle modern terrorism. Unreasonable president that has achieved only travelling since he was inaugurated. I guess Buhari has been deprived of travelling for decades.

  51. Just like d US base in basra iraq, they need to take over a large swathe of land & dispatch soldiers daily on house to house raids and get actual intelligence on d ground. When pple feel secure & feel theres a better force protecting them, they will talk.

The good maiduguri & borno pple have bn vigilanteeing themselves for too long. Take d fight to these pple & stop playing defense.
