Maiduguri Int'l Airport to reopen months after it was closed down due to Boko Haram attacks

The Maiduguri International Airport in Borno state will be reopened today June 9th many months after it was closed down due to Boko Haram attacks. According to KSM news, Borno state deputy governor, Zanna Umar Mustapha disclosed this and said the state government received a letter from the Chief of Air Staff advising the airport management to reopen the airport. The deputy governor revealed that the first flight will land in Borno on Friday June 12th.

    1. The Military control centre has been moved to Borno. The Generals will need the Airport to go in and out of the state.
