The art of politics and getting things done for now can only be done through Tinubu - Oba of Lagos

In a fresh interview with Punch, Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu expressed his reservations over some PDP politicians especially in Lagos state who were in disagreement with APC Chieftain Bola Tinubu. According to him, the art of politics & getting things done for now can only be done through Tinubu
"There are still good people in the PDP. I am not saying that. Don’t misquote me. There are many good people like Ade Dosunmu and even Jimi Agbaje, who is my blood relation. But it is unfortunate because there are some things I don’t want to disclose. Their hatred of Bola Tinubu is the mistake they are making. He is an individual they don’t understand. You know Jesus said in the Bible that ‘Father please forgive them for they know not what they do’.
And the Tinubu that they wanted to destroy, see what God has helped him to do for Nigeria. The Bible said the stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone. The art of politics and getting things done for now, can only be done through Bola Tinubu, which they do not understand. Some people say I always agree with him and it is because they do not know me. I have no friend or enemy and I don’t have a reservoir of knowledge but God has found me worthy. We argue on many occasions and at times, he suggests reasonable things which I concur with but sometimes, I will convince him to accept my own and as a son to a father, he has no choice but to obey me"he said

  24. True talk Kabiyesi. I wonder why people will be denying the truth openly like this.

Tinubu is a good leader, a good manager and a good scout for right leaders. Check out people who have come out of him.

He values merit and that is his secret. No room for mediocrity.

can only be done through him. Pls Oba Akiolu
keep quiet. We beg of you stop embarrasing your
self. The success of APC in this election is really
shacking you but remember that it is only the

  57. Guys, believe me when I say something is about to start. When things become too much, know that there will be a decline. Let this man say what he wants to say now, we know it will be followed by a dead silence... And let Tinubu becareful, they once said this about one powerful politician in Ibadan but where is he today. This is your highest achievement... now step aside and let it work... Nigeria is not Lagos, let everyone benefit from this democracy and you will always be remembered on thr right side of history...don't let these attention seekers blind you to sit on a throne that has a huge hole dug beneath it.

  58. Why is this Oba trying to impose Tinubu on us? Why is he dictating the way people should go. I thought we are in a democratic regime?

  59. This Oba talks too much.
How did he become Oba? What does he do for the people?
Just sits and runs mouth, no class whatsoever.
He should just join politics where he can run his mouth all the time.
    Classless.
