  21. She is not the only one. Have seen a young lady pulling the stick shift expertly. Most men that day did not want to enter her vehicle, but after some yabs from the females, they entered and they ended up commending her.

  32. I am a lady but I completely dis agree with this. Women should be drivers of public vehicles....women are pretty impatient and need I remind you that they stil run their homes and take care of kids and are mostly sleep deprived becos of all des! Brt men drivers are already he'll to manage then women! Ama wait and see ow dis turns out!

    this is a good development in my country, as some know this isn't a new thing in the western part of the world and it just encourages gender equality and how there are something women can be in charge of as we see men also been male nurses.

    To those that feel a woman can't be capable of driving a bus such as BRT then you need to open your horizon to other places where women drive public transport buses as it is where I am and I can't count how many buses have been on which was a female driver.

  42. Nothing new Linda! Most (80%) of the BRT bus drivers in Gauteng (Pretoria and JoBurg) are women! Yes they are all women.
