Suleiman Hashimu aka ‘The traveler" who promised to trek from Lagos to Abuja if Gen. Buhari wins the 2015 Presidential election, arrived Abuja this evening after trekking for many weeks.     And in 2015, from sheer excitement that Buhari won an election, a Nigerian youth would stage a long walk from Lagos to Abuja to celebrate his ptrefered candidate's victory at the polls...
    Well I fear that some years down the line, many would remember this boy as one misguided youth and laugh derisively at his tomfoolery for celebrating a mirage!

    Its so sad that people cant see the possibility of a Lagos to Abuja trek. Some peeps are saying he is looking too fresh and buff, some are saying he did not really trek, some are saying he is doing it for one favour or the other maybe money or Abuja job close to Baba and so on and on, ehen then so what? yes he trekked and yes he got to Abuja and yes he got a rousing welcome suck it up cos Like it or not his name and this act will forever be remembered in history.I have some query for this guy though, haba have you not heard of social media? or at least FACEBOOK? i want to believe you have, then you should have tweeted or posted pics somewhere of yourself on the many stops you made, what you did when you woke up in the morning, where you slept, what and how you ate (to remain buff) and in short get the whole experience on record. I'll be damned if you don't get a movie or a book deal out of it cos you shocked us with the experience and now you left us dry with no story telling. but then, hey that's what ill do though, anyways im glad you made it and i wish you the best of luck in future endeavors
    p.s : will you be trekking back to Lagos?
