Ingret! If he is an evil man what are you. You just open your mouth to talk down on someone who has contributed immensely to national development. What have you contributed to your dear country it is only to critize. David mark is not the governor of benue state. General Hospital if you know has its budget with the state.if the governor failed to do what he should do do you put the blame on David Mark. If you have followed up on the numerous developmental projects of David Mark well you will know that he has done a lot for his people and therefore needs to be appreciated and respected. Try and make your on Contribution if all of us begin to give back to our society no matter how little it will go along way In making positive impact to the society. Stop criticising people who have contributed positively to our dear nation.

I served in benue and trust me, this is not far from the truth. Annoying thing is most of the indigenes there are so content with their inhuman way of life.

My dear, I almost wept on saturday on my way back from a burial in Benue. Am Idoma and have to admit dat my native land is one of d most under developed in Nigeria. I wont be surprised, Benue state os one state that is lagging in terms of infrastructural development and social amunities, the previous governors have done nothing for the states than enrich themselves, its amazing that none of them has been tried by EFCC.....they act and rule like its their birthright and they owe anyone no explanations. Its quite unfortunate that the senate president is form one of the least developed states in the country and hasn't deemed it fit to implement some changes, lets not even talk about the fact that civil servants in the states don't get paid. That's why I was so glad when APC won d gubernatorial elections in the state maybe, just maybe they will effect some changes

Where i served at zaki biam benue state .. most of thier houses dnt even hv toilet .. they can deficate anywhere they dont care so am not surprise seeing this at all . . This is a typical benue way of life ..

It is truely 'The General Hospital Otukpo. Otukpo is a town that is suffering from Prolonged Stagnation.It has been the same way since the 80's with very little improvements as per infrastructures. Bad road,no pipe borne water, Old structures, schools with poor amenities... the list is endless. In summary, Otukpo has had very little or no imputs from numerous local govt chairmen or councillors not to talk of Senator David Mark who has been there like forever and the road leading to his house in GRA otukpo is full of potholes. I can say all this because I am from Otukpo and I know.

Yes- I am from Otukpo and yes, that is the state of the general hospital- people- it is not david mark's responsibility to refurbish the general hospital- does otukpo not have a chairman? Does Benue not have a governor??? It is the responsibility of the state governor to do something about the state of the hospital, not the senate president- the man alone can't singularly deliver everything to his people- where are all the other high achieving Otukpo people? These people should contribute their own quota to their hometown

Linda, this is very true. Benue state especially the Idoma's haven't benefited anything from Democracy since 1999. The decay didn't just start now, its getting worse by the day. Same state that produced the likes of George Akume, David Mark,Audu Ogbe, Barnabas Gemade, Abba Moro,etc. The list is endless. Otukpo is supposedly the most developed part of Idoma land so just try to imagine what the health centers in the interior villages will be like.
this is one out of many dilapidated site in Idoma land,market,school and road is there too, the way they were in the 70s.yet we have a man who called himself 5th time senator of the federal republic of nig. our God will not for give u n ur generation.

It is truely 'The General Hospital Otukpo. Otukpo is a town that is suffering from Prolonged Stagnation.It has been the same way since the 80's with very little improvements as per infrastructures. Bad road,no pipe borne water, Old structures, schools with poor amenities... the list is endless. In summary, Otukpo has had very little or no imputs from numerous local govt chairmen or councillors not to talk of Senator David Mark who has been there like forever and the road leading to his house in GRA otukpo is full of potholes. I can say all this because I am from Otukpo and I know.

The have raped Otukpo in broad daylight. This is so sad. Those days growing up this General Hospital was very good o!

ReplyDeleteYes- I am from Otukpo and yes, that is the state of the general hospital- people- it is not david mark's responsibility to refurbish the general hospital- does otukpo not have a chairman? Does Benue not have a governor??? It is the responsibility of the state governor to do something about the state of the hospital, not the senate president- the man alone can't singularly deliver everything to his people- where are all the other high achieving Otukpo people? These people should contribute their own quota to their hometown

ReplyDeleteLinda, this is very true. Benue state especially the Idoma's haven't benefited anything from Democracy since 1999. The decay didn't just start now, its getting worse by the day. Same state that produced the likes of George Akume, David Mark,Audu Ogbe, Barnabas Gemade, Abba Moro,etc. The list is endless. Otukpo is supposedly the most developed part of Idoma land so just try to imagine what the health centers in the interior villages will be like.
