Maid steals valuables worth over N4m from family, now on the run

A broadcast that was sent out last night about a maid who stole from her employers. Read below...
The lady on my DP goes by the name Esther Aniefiok (from Akwa-Ibom). She was our housemaid until the (6th April) when she broke into our bedroom while we were out as a family between 12:30 and 6:30pm. She stole a lot of our valuables totaling a large amount of money. The items stolen include gold jewelries, wrist watches, shoes, clothing items and about N100,000 cash. Her agent was arrested, but released to a verified guarantor as he promised to report back to the ifako Gbagada police station on Friday, 10th of April with the Lady. Please share her picture and also contact me or hubby on 08022222616 or 08029990756 if you know her whereabouts. Also help send an email to lindaikeji@gmail.com as I have been informed that the more mails she gets on this, the higher the likelihood of posting. Thank you.
Lol at send emails to Linda. Actually, I woke up to quite a few emails concerning this. So, I'm posting it. Anyone with any useful information should please contact the family or the nearest police station.

  17. People, always carry your housemaids with you when you are going out as a family, except there will be someone at home with them. Some parents leave them behind because they are not part of the family, giving them all sorts of house chores just to prevent them from going out with the family. That's when they have the opportunity to do all sorts. You went out on Easter monday to have fun and left her at home, she don show una wickedness na. Deal with it. Next time you will show your househelp love, just the same way you would your sister.

    1. Same thought I had. They went out as a family. Ehn it's good na. You left her at home with her own future family na (your precious valuables) lol.

    2. Rubbish. Does your boss carry you everywhere he goes? Families need time alone, same way maids need days off for their own activities .she's a paid employee not your child.

    3. I was just patiently reading other dumb comments at the top hoping to find one like yours. At least someone is thinking like me. If she lives with you then she shld be family for the while and might as well join in in family holiday outings as well.

    4. @Dosh....can you just keep quiet? because i have a maid now, she needs to go everywhere with me. It is the same you that will come and scream: why did u give her a day off, dont overwork ur maids. She took the kids away with here n hubby, no one knows what she was left to do in the house, probably nothing, whatnif it was her off day or she was given dat day to rest from attending to the kids...
If u dont know details, dont assume...assumptions show your low life of dumbness.

Madam, sorry o! I hope your maid is found and arrested asap! Next time, please don't leave maid alone at home. Let her join in the family outing.

  28. One of the reasons I thank God that I live in Germany. Because a blog like this can never publish someone's picture without evidence. Non of these people helping these called 'victims' knows for sure if the woman is guilty. Now look her picture is online, what if she is not guilty? Who is going to bring back her good name? Careful with how you handle stories, because in Germany I can take someone posting my picture with my permission to court and I would win the case. We all cry about injustice in our home countries but we the same people are the one promoting injustice unconscious. Reasoning at times can save someone's life. Justmytwocents

Yes I agree it's unfair to publish her photos.....maybe it's ok to do so with a warrant from the police.

  39. Your response would have been to the contrary had the victims been based outside of Nigeria. In the cases of love scams, you open the story with Lols on how a woman trusts a man she thinks she loves with her money. But in this case, your condemnation is clear. The maid should not have stolen from her employers just because she had access to their loot.

  58. Most of these house helps never give there real names to the agents or their employers and most of these agents do not know the root of these house helps. When you employ a house help, trade carefully, do not completely trust her. Also try to find her root. Back in the days, our parents get house helps directly from the house helps family, so that, if anything goes wrong, you report back to the family. A lot is going on now, so working parents should be careful with house helps. They can do more than steal your valuable, they can steal your child, maltreat your children or even poison your food if they are unhappy with you. So, please do not trust them completely and try not to maltreat them too. Truth is, whether or not you treat them right, a bad person can never change. Parents of these days do not raise there children right. Raise your children not to completely depend on house helps. That way, when they are a certain age, you can completely do without a house help. If people abroad can do without a help, we also can. Thank you.

  59. @Yeshaazy, you are talking trough your anus and i dont blame you cos you are still a child. Its a family outing yeah? And its Easter yeah? What then is she doing at home alone? They probably went to the beach or visiting. She works for them, should she not celebrate with them? Myself and my family went to the beach too and we took our househelp with us and guess what, she totally had fun cos she's fresh from the village and has never seen the ocean before. She was so happy and would not stop talking about the experience. They are human beings too.

    1. @Prayer stop justifying the crime. A househelp that is bad will will always eventually act according to their character no matter the amount of 'love' that you show them. Just treat your househelp according to your conscience and ask God to take control.
I had a househelp that I loved like a sister. And yes, she was included in all family outings. When we travel by air we also by a flight ticket for her. She ended up stealing my sister-in-law's N300,000 among other things. I thank God that I did not abandon the policy of cleaning my room myself and nobody goes into my room anyhow, even with all her volunteering to 'help'. Only God knows what she would have done.

  61. Nigerians you are bad people. You have fully accused someone and found them guilty before they could prove their innocence. Those of you who say things like fear your house help don't deserve help. You do not have the right LINDA to post a persons picture and not know all the facts.

    ReplyDelete
  62. @Prayer, i wish you all the best with your maid from the village. Dont be too quick to judge people. The maid was with the family from Friday to Sunday at a family retreat at the redemption camp. The house needed cleaning and they needed to stock up for the week which was why the maid stayed back. I know because the lady is a friend. No matter how nice you are to a bad person, they will still do what they want to do. P.S: For those insinuating rape, you most likely are perverts, hence the thoughts. I pray Esther is found.
