Son of late former governor of old Anambra state Chief C.C Onoh and former member of the Enugu state House of state, Dr Josef Onoh has vowed to drag the Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu before the International Criminal Court of Justice over the anti-Igbo comments he made during his meeting with some Igbo leaders resident in Lagos last Sunday.
Speaking with Vanguard, Dr Josef Onoh said
"Let it be known that whether Oba Akiolu’s threat comes to fruition or not, I have concluded to take him to the ICC where he will keep company with the like Charles Taylor and answer to human right charges that will be preferred against him” he said

It will interest you to know that I have no problem with any individual voting for you, but you colluding with Ifeanyi Uba, OPC and TAN to exploit and undermine the peaceful co-existence between Ndigbo and their Host Community for your personal agenda is totally unacceptable. This good relationship you see today, took generations to build - therefore we cannot keep silence and watch you tear it down.
Keep your campaign open to all and desist from sowing the seed of division. And we have not forgotten how you promised to collude with Militants in Niger Delta to sabotage the economy if Jonathan loses. At least now if there is any crisis in the creek, we know who to bring in for details about the plan to sabotage the economy of Nigeria.

It is high time we begin to put the records straight and clear all the misinformation going around. In my opinion, Lagos State has been magnanimous and accomodating enough which I don't think anyone should be crying wolf where there's none. Putting the records straight: (1). The Chief Executive Officer of LASTMA Transportation in person of Mr Young Arabamen hails from Esan Central LGA, Efo State. (2) Lagos State Commissioner for Economic Planning & Budget, Mr Ben Akabueze has served in this capacity since January, 2007 having first been appointed by Governor Tinubu and later re-appointed for Two terms by Governor Fashola. (3) The former Publicity Secretary for ACN and currently Publicity Secretary of APC, Mr Joe Igbokwe is obviously not a Yoruba man either. It may interest you to also know that Lagos State has been accommodating to such an extent of allowing Mr Joe Igbokwe double as the General Manager, Lagos State Infrastructures Maintenance & Regulatory Agency (LASIMRA). (4). Sometimes in 2013, when a lady Uzoma Okere was brutalized by a Yoruba Naval Officer, it was Mr Babatunde Raji Fashola who stood up, prosecuted the matter till the lady was compensated. My dear People, Lagos State has moved beyond ethnic divides and I don't think we should allow the shallow minded elements trying to use this as a tool for getting votes succeed in their evil bids. ReplyDeleteThe issues is that Oba is not comfortable with the Igbo political interest in Lagos, he fears that Igbo are capable of upturning the political space of Lagos, and couple with their economic power they might some day relegate the Lagos indegine to the background.

This is not the first time election is taken place in lagos, what make the difference is the sudden interest of Igbo in lagos politics which is being resisted, mark my word there is going to be big problem ahead if igbo insisted on going into Lagos politics in lagos.

Nigerians are winning electoral posts in the UK and USA. We're in what I call a "global household". Your work will speak for you and it shall be seen by all at electronic speed worldwide, thanks to the INTERNET. As for Lagos, this is just the beginning, the best is yet to come. Lagos is the only state in Nigeria that houses igbo commissioners(not just one),for the past 16 years,the deputy chairman of my local government (ojo)have always been an igbo man,the newly elected house of rep candidate of amuwo odofin is a southerner and you dare cry fowl and tribalism,prove me wrong by showing me just an ordinary ward councillor in the east that is from another region,Ifeanyi ubah (tan chairman) said lagos is no man's land,i shook my head when i head that,ive been to the east,north,south and i personally draw conclusion that yorubas are one of the most hospitable people in Nigeria,the influx of every other tribe here is a perfect prove , you expect them to continue to be
hospitable to the Igbo by promoting the safety of Igbo lives,
property and investment in Yoruba land, we shouldn't be
seen to be sabotaging their interest. We should rather seek
to ensure protection of our interests in their land. Some
people will say that this is Nigeria, and that we are free to

reality is that Nigeria is a geopolitical definition in which
lives now, not one single Nigerian. We are first identified by
