BTS pics from Asa's new music video 'Eyo' + Watch the lovely video
Here are some behind-the-scenes photo from Asa's new music video directed by Meji Alabi for JM production. See more photos and watch the video after the cut...
I've loved that music ever since I heard it...my playlist ain't complete without BOS.... nice video...however, I think that free dress didn't go well jare... she looked better and more mature in the other clothes she wore. ~ceze
I respect this lady a lot.No "forming',no foolish pride like many of her contemporaries who are not even anywhere near her levels...and she is always representing Naija and Africa in her songs.Kudos Asa
Brilliant song. But something about the video doesn't do it for me. I expected something more vibrant, full of colour and life. Something depicting the energy of Lagos and Eyo a bit better.
Asa has created a niche for herself and is perhaps the only Nigerian artist with a cult following. Her music and her style is consistent and respected. Bearing her chest - not sure if its an identity crisis or just her own way of pushing the boundary; I am sorry it just doesn't cut it with her brand. It looked funny - seriously. It would have looked better if she had some traditional attire on. The song Eyo is set in an urban inner city neighbourhood with the Eyo masquerade as its traditional backdrop. With her kind of Traditional African Neo Jazz - her stylist ought to dress her to fit the part. Great music though.
I love this lady biko! In a class of her own. She is not competing with anyone in her genre at all! Beautiful and well directed video! What is the meaning of the song though?
Once you have a good voice, no matter the location where you shoot the video of your song, it still comes out good. Some people think shooting a video in SA or USA will alter their nasty voice.
