Photos from the mass protest that took place in Akwa-Ibom today

The APC in Akwa Ibom State took to the streets today to protest what they claim is massive rigging in the state. The protest was led by the APC guber candidate in the State, Umana Okon Umana. They demanded the cancellation of the election and removal of the State Resident Electoral Commissioner, Austin Okojie. The protesters barricaded the state headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission. More photos after the cut...

    Jonathan is playing with fire. I don't mean that in a disrespectful way, I just mean that he's letting the desperation of his corrupt aides and associates drag his name in the mud.       They ain't protesting in all the states they lost! But in rivers, edo and a/Ibom elections didn't hold. I'm not partisan, I'm just an observer. The best thing INEC can do to is cancel the election. If PDP is to win they will win if APC likes they should make noise tire. But let them actually do a proper election there.
