Photo: El Rufai collects N20 from voluntary donors to his campaign

Bello El Rufai, son of APC Governorship candidate in Kaduna state, Nasir El Rufai shared this photo of his father collecting N20 donations from some Kaduna residents while campaigning in the state today March 23rd. How nice of them...

    1. These people are so funny. They keep collecting from the masses. You'll never hear El-Rufai donated one hospital or one primary school. You will never hear Buhari did this or did that for his community. Yet they come out to say people are donating to their lost causes as a sign of approval. It is so sameful how these people are shameless.

    2. Is the N20 naira they are collecting not better than d billions PDPigs still collects from these same masses when they fail to give them light and they have to spend money they do not have to fuel their 'i better pass my neighbour' gen? Or when they increase fuel price so diezani (aka Presidents girl friend) can see money to rent private jet for N10Billion & these same masses have to protest a la occupy nigeria?? ...olodo!

    3. #smh - Obama depended on the people also to raise money for campaign and that way they don't owe any god fathers.

#smh - since they want to talk about Agric, let's do so.

Before then, the man and his ministry overwhelmed us with statistics, “We ended 40 years of fertiliser corruption in 90 days,” they informed us. Also, ‘the growth that the Jonathan administration has engendered in the agriculture sector is unprecedented’. It happened that this was a complete fabrication.

Sharing data from the National Bureau of Statistics and the Central Bank of Nigeria, Adamu Bello argued that instead of growth, there has been a decline in the sector since Obasanjo left office. Statistics show that between 2003 and 2007, when Obasanjo left office, the growth in the agriculture sector averaged 6.85 percent per annum. The growth started declining immediately after he left office. And in 2013, under Jonathan, growth in the sector was 4.5 percent; the government failed its own target of 8.0 percent growth.

  15. I keep advocating that people be weary of the folks that share money during campaigns. Peradventure they win, their topmost priority would be to recover the money spent. APC isn't interested in giving ppl peanuts during campaign and as such would utilise the public fund for the general good of the ppl.
God bless the ppl that are keying into the wind of change coming by donating
