Then & now. Meet Awolowo's daughter who presented flower to Queen Elizebeth in 1956
Left: Tokunbo, one of the daughters of late Chief Obafemi Awolowo presenting a bouquet of flowers to Queen Elizabeth in Ibadan when she came to visit in 1956. Right: Mrs Tokunbo Awolowo-Dosumu today... History 101! *wink*
Mumu dem! All of una no sabi yet una dey spread giv us here. Starting wit u @LIB Syndrome, u dnt even knw the correct wrd yet u ar correcting sum one. And u@vivian louis, u wey sabi criticize, why didn't u correct her? And 4 dis skelewu brain@Mz Lolo doing I2K, u dnt even knw a fin. The ryt wrd is OPEN TEETH
Wawuu!! Saw d pic nd was even telling ma friends whr d lady will be now, didn't even knw she was awolowos daughter. Thank u linda 4 d edifying post. *hits blunt* y d fuck is she kneeling to present d flower!!
Mumu de smell! Do u even knw wat the Queen is worth? Do u fink its ur useless , poverty striken village kings and queens? Kneeling down is a sign of respect. So dnt 4get dat
Because she's a queen you fools, even her own people knelt down to her during that time. Besides this was in 1956, we didn't have our independence, so we were still under her.
Linda, quite impressive. But I would have really commended the feat, if the face of the young "Awo" was also put up, as an inset, to compare with "new" current face! Weldone, anyways! Jafaaro Bonanno
Darling Linda, you really need me as your proof reader, I'll do an excellent job! I think you meant to say "...who presented flowerS to Queen ElizAbeth"
Flowers or flower, u kip opening her blog, she kips getting famous, she kips making her money, she kips thriving, n yet I believe ure stuck. So stop hating and kip admiring. She's also a girl like u, buh d only thing dat differs is dat she's way better dan u.
Historic lessons/notes I have picked up here, I would never have picked up in all my years in Secondary school because our curriculum is bland, dull. We need to beef up our History educational curriculum because there is a lot to learn asides the official stuffs and whatnot.
So as early as 1956 "Man know Man" has started. Any benefit, anything good that comes to Nigeria goes to them.. politicians and their children... scholarship and others... whats about us...
Hiannnnnnnnnnnnnn!!!!
