Photos from Mr Nigeria Project Raw

Project RAW is a domestic violence awareness campaign. The acronym RAW stands for Respect A Woman and it's the brainchild by current Mr Nigeria, Emmanuel Ikubese. He explains;
"I believe no man will ever hit his Mother because of Respect. If such Respect can be applied in Relationships/Marriages this will significantly reduce the rate of Domestic violence in our society. My vision is to see Men make this pledge to Respect A Woman and apply them in their Relationships. For Women in such violent Relationships its high time they Run Away from this deadly act."
The photoshoot stars Bryan Okwara, OC Ukeje, Blossom Chukwujekwu, Kiki Omeili, Shaydee, Korede Bello, Di'ja Adesua Etomi, Lilian Afegbai, Chinyere Adogu (Mbgn Tourism 2014), Marie Miller (Miss Earth 2013) and others. See the photos after the cut...

    3. And when another man stand in your way you run like a little chicken. Say what you want but walking away is always an option. Real men have self control. And if you really can't handle her, then send her back to her father/people... Marriage (relationship) no bi by force!

    3. By their words you shall know them. Mr perfect, who gets to beat you up to correct you?
Why do you need to bit her to correct her, are you her father? How do you hurt what you claim to love? You should probably look up the definition of relationship/ union. Why would you be in a union with someone you feel the need to bit to correct?
Finally just in-case this eludes you, walking away is always an option. If you really can't handle her, then send her back to her father/ people, marriage/relationship no bi by force ni!

  38. Nice one! Was a victim of domestic violence for 7 years and took the courage to walk out of the marriage late last year with my kids. Hasn't been easy, but I thank God and believe I'm in a better place. NO ONE should be encouraged to remain in a violent relationship. Hope victims could get more support.

    ReplyDelete
  39. That is really nice. Very respectable.

    ReplyDelete
  40. This is good, very 👍. They should pls also address mental and verbal abuse. Most women are verbally and mentally abused everyday (much more than physical abuse) but never recognize it until one day it all boils over into physical hurt or death.
If you won't talk to a woman like trash, chances are you won't hit her either!

    ReplyDelete
  41. Very good initiative, there are lots of tales of domestic violence in d society nd there's a dire need to curb it and create awareness

  48. The picture with the guy smiling in the black t-shirt holding the lady with the iron burns reminds of my ex. After beating me, he would act like nothing happened and would want me to open my legs for me. Men without consciences. SMH!

  49. It's true. Some women don't leave because they have nowhere to go. What resources are available to them when they leave?

    ReplyDelete
  50. Some women do abuse men too violence is violence and it is vice versa awareness for both is essential and I like dis they starting dis kind of awareness Africa and Africa america women are been abused more in relationships which they can't get out of

    What message is that?
If a man threatens to hit you as woman you need to leave, they don't change and never accept an apology from a man who has hit you, walk away!
