Graphic pics: Keke driver burns to death after being allegedly chased by police men

According to our good friend Bonario Nnags who sent in the report, the incident happened early this morning at Gudu roundabout in Abuja. He said policemen in their van were chasing a Keke driver and during the chase, the Keke tumbled and caught fire. The only passenger in the Keke managed to escape unhurt but the driver wasn't so lucky. Bonario said seeing the Keke and driver on fire, the police quickly left the scene, leaving the man to burn to death. He said this enraged other Keke drivers and some people who witnessed the incident and they began to protest. He said it took the intervention of military men to disperse the protesters. More photos after the cut...

The Keke driver burnt to death. May his soul rest in peace...amen.

    1. Oh my God, what a painful scene. All this police men and their useless way of handling issues. this was exactly same thing I heard happened in Benin, chasing a bus driver because he beat the travel Abi passed one way, so the police men chased the bus driver not until he was caught nd seized his car battery which the driver refuses to let them go wit the car battery nd stood in front of the police van that they are going nowhere not until his car battery is returned back to him, instead of them to simply arrest this driver, they ran the van over him and the vehicle was dragging him till he died, trust eye witnesses they bounced on one of the police men, guess the others flee, disarmed him and beat him seriously to death. So I really wonder what the police men are there for?? Since they can't protect the lives of his citizens according to the law.

Why didn't he wait when he was being chased, you don't evn knw wot his offence was. The fact that the police men saw the accident and left was wrong but there are a lot of what ifs, like what if they tot he was able to leave the keke jst like d driver did? What if they were thinking of wot pple arnd wld do to dem, cos as it is, everyone is blaming them alredy, they didn't set the man on fire. What did Nigerians do too to stop the fire? Not just shouting Nigerian police after d deed has been done. Mtcheeewww. We are all corrupt. God help us all
