And also, any candidate/politician or his cohorts caught handing out gift items, the said candidate ought to be disqualified from running for office.     This is one of the main problems with our mentality. Why o Why should any politician be engaging in this sort of act of bribery is beyond me. Same condemnation goes to our election body, such should be banned and immediate disqualification for any candidate buying his/her way into office.

    If only people at the grassroots can work in unison and deliberately accept the gift and make sure they do not vote for such thieves. I call these politicians thieves because they are only going to recoup all election campaign cost by looting public funds. Shaking my head at the joke of a country.
