    1. In the 2015 elections, Nigerians would have to make hard choices about the next president because their future and that of the country depend on it.
As we approach the elections, especially the presidential election, some members of the political elite wants to make religion the dominant issue instead of focusing on the governance and development challenges facing the country. In their myopia and diversionary tactics, they have focused on the religious backgrounds of some of the president aspirants. They erroneously proclaim that there will be Armageddon if certain candidates are victorious at the poll. In their efforts to stop such candidates, their religion and the part of the country they come from are being demonized. They have consequently introduced the religious backgrounds of the presidential tickets of the two main political parties, the PDP and APC, as an issue. This has manifested in the discourse of a Muslim-Muslim or a Christian-Christian ticket. While they argue for a balance of the two dominant religions in the presidential tickets, they are silent on the need for gender balance in the tickets. These campaigns further divide rather than unite our people.

  71. "General Muhammadu Buhari is an upright man. Not many people know that his first daughter is married to an Igbo man from Anambra. He exempted Christians from performing duty on Sundays. When his Muslim soldiers asked him to exempt them from duty on Fridays he told them the bible says Christians should rest on the 7th day, the Muslims should show him where the Koran says they should rest on Fridays. As Head of State he slashed the number of Muslims going on pilgrimage by 50%.
His driver and cook for the past 10 years plus are Christians yet some uninformed Nigerians say he is a bigot. It is a pity that some people failed to understand that politicians deliberately capitalised on the gullibility of Nigerians to paint him black. This they did in order to keep their loot and ensure that he never gets the opportunity to send them to jail.

How many Nigerians would hold appointment in government as Minister of Petroleum, PTF Chairman and Head of State, yet don’t own a house in Abuja or all over Nigeria. He never kept a foreign account. Love him or hate him but you cannot take his integrity away from him.”

  77. The geyser is spewing arrant nonsense again. Jonathan won in 2011 because of the arrogation of the right to rule the country by the mainly Muslim North. It created a David and Goliath situation. Nigerians supported "David" who unfortunately turned out to be an impostor. ( Words about now is that he is now paying people to say he is Nigeria's Jesus). Doyin, your man lacks initiative, he is cowardly, he is not decisive, does not command the respect of all, seeks to use the fault lines in the country to divide us permanently and above all, he squandered the goodwill of the people who helped him to conquer the "Goliath". Doyin, try to sell your bad wares, leave the decision as to who leads us out of this quagmire to the electorates. Oh! Leave your radio on on 15th February, 2015! bobolalukaz@yahoo.com

I agree absolutely with everything he has said, especially with the part about buhari saying he's worth a million naira. 90. Nigerians should kindly ask themselves why these guys (Oga Jonathan and his people) are always so desperate to attack Buhari? How many times has Buhari even spoken about them? The answer is simple, in today's Nigeria, the thieving elites fear a man as disciplined as Buhari because they would have to scamper to hide and would probably end up being thrown in jail. Don't let these thieving and corrupt elites corrupt your mind with foul sentiments....they're doing it only because of their pockets. If you need to know about Buhari, Google is there. Have an open-minded and make your research using non-biased articles and websites.

    God Bless Nigeria.

  98. Doyin, you better call your lawyer(s) to start doing change of names on all your property(ies) because GMB is coming for you and ur kind. looting public funds for your self fish interest. Let the Lord decide our leaders in Nigeria. Anyone, with the intention of looting God will bless there family with all the diseases the lord sent on the Egyptians during Moses. Simple!

  99. Bastard Doyin Okupa should just shut his smelling mouth. It's obvious that they are confused in PDP camp. Who is interested in his useless opinion. It's quite unfortunate that some people call you daddy. I wonder what your household looks like for a man to mortgaged his conscience for what he would eat. You are a big disgrace to ur entire family and the Yoruba race in general. I don't think any other candidate can be as brainless as ur oga except you. Come February 2015, we shall witness CHANGE in Nigeria and all you guys would rot in jail by God's grace. Omo ale jatiti.

  101. I am a Christian and then a Nigerian. Leadership should be performance driven and not religious sentiment. Change is a key factor to any economic advancement. Six years in power is too long a time to bring about change...what i am saying is the present administration has failed Nigerians. We need change

  106. Yorubas are pushing Buhar...
But no Yoruba cabndidate has ever won a presidential election in Nigeria...
From Awolowo to Falaye to Ribadu, etc and now to Buhari...
Yoruba didn't support OBJ in 1999, nor did they support GEJ in 2011, yet they won...
    Wake up!!!
You people play tiwan tiwa politics and it fails you all the time..

  109. Saying a man like Buhari is a religious bigot is only but to say the least. Thank God Doyin did not say he is corrup. Thank God he did not say he is a murder. Thank God there is no proof what so ever that he is religious bigot. Change 2015! Buhari we know.

  111. Doyen Okupe believes he needs to be what stupid Femi Fani Kayode was during Obasanjo's tenure inorder to justify having a job in Aso Rock. He has always failed to show why people should vote to keep his boss in Aso Rock, rather he goes for character assassination of members of the opposition. He shows the ineptitude and lack of substance of the Jonathan government. Okupe where is Femi Fani Kayode politically today ??

  119. I saw this guy on Channels tv and he was quoting and 'misquoting' himself. Honestly, I have no respect for him as a political office holder. He is filled with lies and I think he suffers from 'weight pressure' rather than the problems in the country. The day GMB won the primaries, he was the 1st to comment, Y? He has embarked on media tour to bring disrepute to GMB, Y? He has no single respect for a former head of state. I think its a plot by the PDP...I really think they want to mislead the APC with conflicting comments and I hope the opposition won't fall into their hands. They would capitalize on the M/M ticket if they chose BRF and if they (APC) chose Ameachi, PDP can easily divide the votes from SW. It is dicey either way for the APC. But the ball is in their court. What they need is uniformity and understanding, anywhere the slot for VP goes to, they all need to stay united so no region will be exposed to these despirados. Obviously, the PDP is scared. I want change and I am sure GEJ can't provide that. Whether it now comes from the North, East, South or West, I don't care. But enough of this 'hot air'. Novemberman007@yahoo.com

  123. My concern is that people who want the progress of the nation must not wait until they become presidents. They should be able to support whoever the president is and not sabotage the government by encouraging trouble.
