long time ago probably no one remembers, but she was a very
controversial figure. Now she’s part of the establishment. I think if we
just remain deeply tasteful and just put deeply tasteful people on the
cover, it would be a rather boring magazine! Nobody would talk about us.

Ouch! This woman is not nice at all...:-). Vogue actually lost a lot of subscribers after the infamous Kimye cover so she's been explaining why she did it..

We had women who did magazine poses in trousers in the 1920s and were called sluts and whores. Today, a women who doesn't wear trousers is considered unconventional. When people start to realise that we as humans are evolving, and that our previously held norms and beliefs are being shattered on a daily basis, we'll recognise the ingenuity of Kim Kardashian and her role in shaping modern culture as we know it.
