Photos: Policemen photographed beating a customer at Lekki Rd

Policemen attached to Oando Filling Station were seen around noon today beating a customer at Oando filling station Ikate, Lekki Road. Passersby, one of them a LIB reader, didn't know what he did to warrant the assault but took photos and sent it in. See more photos after the cut...

    1. Is it not that filling station with tastee fried chicken, horrible place to buy fuel. The fuel attendants are so rude, I don't know why people still go there.

  40. Welcome to banana republic, a country where nothing is functional except of course uncountable churches with fake pastors abound. On no account should a police who is meant to maintain law, order and protect the tax payer lay a finger on a person, but then the country is a banana contraption. Sickening!

  57. This state of lawlessness as seen from men in uniform, women alike in fact has to stop! I mean! No matter what d man has done, everyone is innocent till proven guilty. These people should be preserving and not indiscriminately breaking d law. Its getting out of hands! The amount of unruly nature we witness daily from these people. I pray Fashola uses just one as a scape goat. Would probably serve as a lesson.

  79. Pillar Egona is a 7-Year-Old girl, She was recently diagnosed with Osteosarcoma (bone cancer), a kind of cancer at knee cap region. The cancer has become so extensive that it might affect other parts of the body if surgery is not done as soon as possible.
Leg amputation is all Nigeria hospitals could offer with less chances of survival as they don't have life support machine for kids. Treatment abroad through chemotherapy and possibly limb salvage can be done for her to make her walk with her feet again where state of the art health facilities are.

  84. Na wa for Nigeria police. And they wonder why people don't value and respect them. I'm not surprise, majority of them are criminals and don't know why they joined the police force in the first place. *The police is your friend*- my foot. *To protect lives and properties* my ass. The changes taking place in nigeria for better should start with the police force
