Oscar & Reeva never had sex before he killed her"- her mum claims

Late model Reeva Steenkamp's mother June Steenkamp said Reeva confided in her before she was shot dead on Val's day 2013 that she'd never had sex with Oscar Pistorius.

June made this revelation in her yet to be released book titled “Reeva: a Mother's Story”. In an extract from the book in Times Magazine, June wrote that Reeva told her that although they spent nights together, they didn't have sex because she 'was scared to take the relationship to that level'.
"She had confided to me that she hadn’t slept with him. They’d shared a bed, but she was scared to take the relationship to that level. She wouldn’t want to sleep with Oscar if she wasn’t sure. I believe their relationship was coming to an end. In her heart of hearts, she didn’t think it was making either of them happy.” June wrote. Continue...
Speaking about Oscar, June wrote
"To look at him now, he's a pathetic figure. He looks haunted. He's already been punished in a way.
“Whatever is in his head is in his head forever. He will have to live with that.”
"It was Reeva’s bad luck that she met him, because sooner or later he would have killed someone. I do believe that.”
June also wrote that she didn't believe Oscar's version.
“He said pulling the trigger was 'an accident'. What? Four times an accident? He said Reeva did not scream, but she would definitely have screamed. I know my daughter as she was very vocal.
“There is no doubt in our minds that something went horribly wrong, something upset her so terribly that she hid behind a locked door with two mobile phones.”
She also talked about how she and Reeva's father are dealing with their grief
"Both of us are haunted by the same nightmare. The vision of Reeva suffering this terrible trauma. Her terror and helplessness. Her yells for help piercing the silent night air. Barry agonises over what was going through her mind. ‘Where is anyone? Who is going to save me?’
About Oscar's apology she said
"Why decide to say sorry to me in a televised trial in front of the whole world? I was unmoved by his apology.
"I felt if I appeared to be sorry for him at this stage of his trial on the charge of premeditated murder, it would in the eyes of others lessen the awfulness of what he had done."
"He was in the box trying to save his own skin after he had killed my daughter and I was sitting in that courtroom wanting to hear the factual truth, not to see emotions cloud the truth."
“We’re not looking for vengeance or for him to get hurt; we’re just happy because he’s going to be punished for what he’s done.
“He may come out early on good behaviour, but by the time he’s served that time, it will have taught him that he can’t go around doing things like that.” June wrote

    1. Easier said? I pray no one kills your relative in cold blood in your entire life time. Cos it's only then you'd have to understand the hurt you have to live with. Let who ever is grieving grief. Non of ur Damn business. You'd grow up, have a child, nature him/her, and they get murdered in cold blood by some psychopath and u will indeed leave matter for matthias? It's dude like you I hate. So irrational, reason before you speak.

  12. I believe she was with the wrong person at the wrong time of her life, "all because of fame" (my opinion) What were they doing 3 months without sex? probably why Oscar shot her? that she was using him?

  22. Murder: is when u kick someone intentionally... That my definition in Oscar's judgement...

  23. I don't believe they didn't have sex. Someone like Oscar would demand it and Reeva, who liked him a lot, would give in. Many daughters won't tell their mothers the full story about their sex lives.

I'm glad he's in prison. He's a lying, faking psychopath.

  28. Throughout the trial, I've found this woman a strange bird. I'll always believe that if she had been more vocal in demanding justice, SA would have been forced to render a tougher sentence. Instead, she ran to the media to say she'd forgiven Oscar, diminishing the severity of his crimes against her daughter to the public. If she, as Reeva's mother, was making statements suggesting the criminal didn't need stringent punishment for justice to be served, why should the judge impose one?

    1. A felony does not need for an individual's opinion. The state prosecutes matters like that irrespective of pple's opinion.

  37. I can t lay blames now she is dead but ladies should not be going to sleep with a man your not ready to have sex with on the same bed.one or two times is pardonable for such lady to test the resilient but for months ,most men will loose control.Afternoon visitation or outing is ok for years but passing a night with a man in the same bed for months can lead to something like ladies when the lady continue to rebuff the luv advance.

  38. So sorry for your loss. But they shared a bed but didn't have sex? Madam, please that one na story for the birds. Tell us another story.

  39. A death can never be reversed. As a mother, I can't even imagine how one can deal with this sort of thing but there is nothing anywhere that can prove that Oscar purposely 'murdered Reeva, He claims it was a tragic incident and in the absence of ANY evidence proving otherwise, we can only accept that story. Reeva is dead, Oscar is ruined, hunted, finished, BOTH families have and are going through hell all because private citizens like to play with highly sophisticated firearms (that is the main point here). A lot of oddities emerged about the Steenkamps too. For over 18months, they have been collecting $6000 monthly form oscar and said nothing. After the murder, he offered to speak with them, they said they weren't ready, then claimed his public apology was insincere. This family has struggled for money as revealed in court and Reeva who was their sole financier and keeper is dead and gone, they will need money and the only way now is via interviews, shows and 'tell-all' books but it must be seen in that light. The only 2 people that KNOW for sure what happened in that relationship are OSCAR and REEVA and unfortunately she is dead. She never said ANYTHING to anyone not friends nor family abbout any 'fears or anything ' so it wouldn't be fair to start framing the entire relationship as what it was not. Rest in peace Reeva, serve your time Oscar and let theirs be a cautionary tale about our gun culture and gun violence in the world today.

  41. @3pm, do your homework before posting naive comments It's well known the state prosecutes flawed cases without the victim's family applying pressure. Case in point is the OJ Simpson case. OJ is in jail today on a different charge partially because Ron Goldman's father made his life a living hell. He fanned the flames of public opinion against him until he was re-arrested and put away for good. Had he gone around talking about how he forgives OJ, his son would have died in vain a faceless forgotten victim.

  43. Why didn't she say that during the trial? When he comes out and publishes his own story with proof that what she is saying is not true, more dirty laundry will come. The fact of the matter is they were a couple in love . No one could prove other wise.
