Boko Haram reportedly abduct men and women in Adamawa state

Daily Trust is reporting that about 50 men and women were abducted after an attack on Gulak community in Adamawa state on Saturday September 13th.

The residents of the community reportedly confirmed that the attack took place and people, including married women were loaded into trucks and taken away.

Musa Uba, a resident of Husra village in Michika LGA which is one of the villages that came under heavy attack said able-bodied young men were forcefully converted into the sect after recruitment efforts through preaching failed to attract volunteers.
“They conducted preaching sessions to attract converts to their sect but people only listened out of fear. The next day they asked if anybody wanted to join them but there was no response, so they selected many healthy looking young men and ordered them to follow them. One of the victims is my relative who did body building exercises regularly,” he said.

  2. They are desperate for members as the Nigerian army has been frustrating their efforts. We will continue to pray that they do not succeed in Jesus name. Their end is near.

    1. We would continue to pray as a people that God frustrates them, but our government must fight them hard & crush them by every means till the only thing left is the sand they once walked upon.
      God Bless Nigeria. Amen.

  19. Hmm,

This madness has gotten too far! And how the Government are making it Look like these activities have come to stay with their very annoyingly unacceptable SILENCE or complete lack of progress report!

God would immensely punish any of those fat useless/heartless Idiotic Government officials who return next year singing songs of " i promise to use my capacity as a president/governor/minister/senator...and build this nation" I swear God would destroy everything that makes them happy! Now they all seem to be blind deaf & dumb abi? So wouldnt it be way better to even try Foreigners who have proven their integrity/worth to their country and the rest of the world over time?

The pain in hearing/watching my people suffer.... God have mercy please.

  20. God have mercy. Nigerian government and military are disgrace to d whole nation and the world at large. The Army authority is busy sentencing court marshal soldiers that fought for their right to death by firing.
