'We know where the Chibok girls are but we are just being careful' - DG SSS says

While fielding questions from newsmen after today's National Security Council meeting held at the Presidential Villa, the Director General of the Department of State Security, DSS, Mr Ita Ekpeyong said that security forces know where precisely the kidnapped Chibok girls are but are being very careful in their rescue efforts so as not to endanger their lives.
"The issue of the Chibok girls, government is making efforts. We know where they are but we don't want to endanger their lives, that is the truth. We want to take it gradually and release them at the appropriate time. We know where they are" he said
Mr Ekpeyong also stated that the Federal Government has directed all the state government planning to register non-indigines in their state by issuing them means of Identification, to stop forthwith and warned military officers not to work with states that may want to go ahead with the process. 8. What a bunch of spineless cowards- if those girls were Israelis, the Israelis would have gone in to rescue them by now, regardless of whether or not lives will be lost- it should be about teaching these terrorists a lesson- that the government will not take their crime without fighting back- but in Nigeria, the government has been allowed to get away with too much

Ordinary they would have stormed the place but those girls are now human shield and that was the aim of boko haram ,waiting a single blood of those girls is better 200 worthless Boko haram put together.no country will attempt forcefully without recording serious casualty level.even Isreal have to negotiate with Hamas for years to release Israeli army because they understand the consequent of using force..Nigerians should understand how these things works.its a pity we lay blame on army instead of those that start sharia that gave birth to extremism ,

  63. Ok... But I'm thinking it would be more appropriate if the girls were rescued first, then the SSS releases a statement saying "we knew where the girls were all along, but we had to be very careful". If this news is ever true, u just gave out your ammo to the terrorists. But hey, who am I to say I know best.

  70. WE ARE TIRED OF THESE CLOWNS AND JOKERS WHO JUST OPEN THEIR MOUTHS TO SAY RUBBISH TO THE NIGERIAN POPULACE: THAT "THEY KNOW WHERE THE CHIBOK GIRLS ARE". ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!! IF THEIR OWN CHILDREN WERE THE ONES WHO WERE KIDNAPPED - WOULD THEY SIT DOWN 4 MONTHS AFTER AND KEEP SAYING THAT THEY KNOW WHERE THEIR CHILDREN ARE AND NOT MAKE EFFORTS AT RESCUING THEM??!!

JUST LOOK AT THE PICTURE OF BADEH UP THERE - REPULSIVELY FAT AFTER STEALING MONEY MEANT FOR THE MILITARY: HIS UNIFORM DOESNT EVEN FIT ANYMORE; HIS STOMACH IS SO BIG THAT HIS HANDS LOOK SMALL AND STUNTED!! AND YET, FOR ALL HIS INCOMPETENCE AND STEALING - THE MAN IS STILL THE HEAD OF OUR MILITARY.

NIGERIANS - WE HAVE ALL BECOME SO AFRAID AND COMPLACENT THAT THESE PEOPLE DO WHAT THEY LIKE, STEAL AS MUCH AS WHAT THEY LIKE AND GET AWAY WITH IT. THERE HAVE BEEN RECENT ALLEGATIONS OF $43M STOLEN BY THESE GENERALS MEANT FOR OUR PEACEKEEPERS, AND NOTHING IS BEING SAID ABOUT IT. THERE ARE ALLEGATIONS THAT THE INSPECTOR GENERAL OF POLICE HAS BEEN DEDUCTING N11,000 FROM THE SALARIES OF EVERY POLICE MAN IN NIGERIA FOR YEARS, ALL IN THE NAME OF "BUYING SHARES FOR THEM" - THESE FUNDS ARE IN A NAMED MICRO FINANCE BANK, RUNNING INTO SEVERAL BILLIONS OF NAIRA - WHAT HAS BEEN DONE...NOTHING!.

WE HAVE BECOME DOCILE: THE ROT, CORRUPTION, BAD GOVERNANCE, ZERO ELECTRICITY, INFRASTRUCTURE AND SECURITY ARE ENOUGH TO HAVE CAUSED UPRISINGS AND SPRINGS LIKE WE SAW IN THE ARAB WORLD - SEVERAL TIMES OVER! MONEY IS MISSING ($20B) AND IS BEING SWEPT UNDER THE CARPET! THE PERSON AT THE HELM, UNDER WHOSE WATCH THESE FUNDS DISAPPEARED HAS BEEN SUMMONED TO EXPLAIN - AND INSTEAD SHE RUNS TO COURT TO SECURE AN ORDER PREVENTING HER FROM APPEARING?!! JOKE OF A NATION!!

THIS GOVERNMENT MADE 91 (91) CAMPAIGN PROMISES (YOU MAY GOOGLE THIS TO CONFIRM) IN 2010 - HOW MANY OF THEM WERE ACTUALLY DELIVERED? NIGERIA IS A FAILED STATE, AND THIS CURRENT GOVERNMENT AND PRESIDENT HAVE MADE US THE LAUGHING STOCK OF THE WORLD!!

SHAMEFUL. OF COURSE SIR, YOU KNOW WHERE THE CHIBOK GIRLS ARE -THATS WHY YOU DONT CARE THAT THEY ARE RAPED AND TORTURED EVERYDAY, AND HAVE BEEN GOING THROUGH THESE THINGS SINCE THE FIRST DAY OF THEIR KIDNAP.

REMEMBER - YOU HAVE CHILDREN AND RELATIVES TOO.

    YOU HAVE DAUGHTERS.

    REMEMBER.

  72. Really? Meanwhile those animals are raping and pillaging the girl and their families and neighborhood everyday.
Why they heck and those animals running free in Borno? the whole state should have been shutdown and the people flushed out buy now. Where is the joint task force?

  73. They certainly don't want this to end, with the so much money voted into the Military...we are not fools jare. BH will be using AA and Nigerian soldiers will be carrying partially loaded Ak4 rifles. They will send soo many soldiers for peace-keeping, yet send very few to Borno. Very un-serious and corrupt Military!

Back in the fifteenth century, in a tiny village near Nuremberg, lived a family with eighteen children. Eighteen! In order merely to keep food on the table for this mob, the father and head of the household, a goldsmith by profession, worked almost eighteen hours a day at his trade and any other paying chore he could find in the neighborhood. Despite their seemingly hopeless condition, two of Albrecht Durer the Elder’s children had a dream...Read THE STORY BEHIND ‘THE PRAYING HANDS
