Speaking this evening after the Eagles' loss to France in the round of 16, Keshi said it was time to move on.
"I have to go back to my family and face fresh challenges,” Keshi said.Eagles Captain, Yobo Joseph also said he's had enough and can go no further as national team player. “I think I should give the younger ones the opportunity to forge ahead. I have nothing new to offer.”

ReplyDeleteUna don try ooh!
ReplyDeleteTHIS ONE NA MEDICINE AFTER DEATH.QUITING AFTER KILLING US.YOBOS DAYS ARE GONE ALREADY,HE WOULD HAVE LEFT WHEN THE OVATION WAS HIGH,AFTER THE AFCON.FOR KESHI,WHO WENT TO WAR WITHOUT HIS MAJOR SNIPPERS.IKE UCHE LAUGHS LAST.HE GAMBLED LIKE A.JACKEL OF FRANCE IN 1998 WHO WENT TO THE WORLD CUP WITHOUT ERIC CANTONA AND DAVID JENOLAR BUT STILL WENT AHEAD TO WIN THE WORLD CUP.THOUGH HE HAS OTHER BIG NAMES LIKE Z.ZIDANE,F BARTEZ,D CHAMP,ETC.KESHI HAVE GOT NONE OF THOSE.NA MIKEL,WHO IS A COMPELETE JB.TOO BAD THAT OVER 170M NIGERIANS WERE HEART BROKEN THIS EVENING.THE NFF SHOULD GO BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD AND RECRUIT REAL COACHES LIKE PARKERMEN OF ARGENTINA THAT IS NOW THE COLUMBIAN COACH, NOT PEOPLE THAT ALWAYS COUNT ON LUCK TO QUALIFY AT ANY TOURNARMENT.
ReplyDeleteThey are both right! Many more should exit the national team. We need young players who have speed, energy, sharp reflexes and coordination in modern football!
ReplyDeleteI knw some people will blame them but I must say they've really tried. Good job well done.
ReplyDeleteam speechless
ReplyDeleteIts a pity keshi is resigning, his decision will be because of those that abused his family. All you bullies should stop.

After you av fall ower hand.. Dats when ur u doing a patroitic resignation
ReplyDeleteWho said you can't face fresh challenges while you still stay on as coach? After choppin' enough money, what's left for him to do is quit. As for dat other one that wore cap like a gangster, thanks to him for the second goal of yesterday's match.. he makes little or no contribution to the team when they needed him the most.. Super Eagles is better off without them. Up 9ja!!!

imranabassolawale@yahoo.com
Wow really sad buy courageous
ReplyDeleteIt's like they are ashamed of being part of our national team..
ReplyDeleteWhich is the exact opposite of what they advertised on our national tv before the World cup...
I know it would've been a different story if we qualified....
All of a sudden, Keshi has got family business to attend to and Yobo has nothing to offer to the team..
That's not enough reasons to quit the team!!
Should this make me feel some sort of way?? Nigerians are the most unpatriotic and impatient tools in the world.... #cheEzyjayne
ReplyDeletetoo bad. fatimasalihu95@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteTypical naija man so keshi expect every nigerian to be on his side he should expect critics he should hav came down and act more matured as for yobo good for him is time for him to stepdown is time all the players called for national duties realise what it means to server their motherland and stop looking for self glory it is a national duty just like serving in the militry or being in any government post keshi and yobo or any other person among all the players should thank GOD for everything he has done for them for every opportunity giving to them by nigeria for it not by their power nor might but by the special grace of GOD whatever they think they can do we have young men in this country that can do it better let's not forget jay jay, kanu papilo, finidi, omekachi, late rashidi yakini this men are hero's they've done it for use in the big stage befor so they should came down joor
