Michael Schumacher no longer in a coma, has left hospital and is now communicating

Some good news for fans of 7-times Formula One world champion, Michael Schumacher. According to a breaking news report, he is no longer in a coma and has left the hospital in Grenoble, France where he'd been receiving treatment after being involved in a skiing accident on December 28th 2013 in the slopes of Meribel in the French Alps that left him with severe head injuries.

Schumacher had been an artificially-induced coma for over five months before he was moved out of intensive care into a rehabilitation ward. His managr released a statement today Monday June 16th
'Michael has left the CHU Grenoble to continue his long phase of rehabilitation. He is not in a coma anymore. The family also wishes to thank all the people who have sent Michael all the many good wishes. We are sure it helped him. For the future we ask for understanding that his further rehabilitation will take place away from the public eye."
The Formula One legend, said to be worth over $600million, has a long way to recovery though, which will include physiotherapists, doctors, nutritionists, nurses and neurological experts.

ALAS, HERE'S A HEARTY CHEER FOR MICHAEL. I'M GLAD HIS LIFE SUPPORT MACHINE WASN'T SWITCHED OFF AS SOME OF HIS PEOPLE WHO PRETENDED TO BE 'CLOSE' SUGGESTED. I'M SURE THEY WERE EYEING HIS MOOLA, GLAD HIS WIFE STOOD BY HIM ALL ALONG. AGAIN, ANOTHER HEARTY CHEER TO THE KING OF THE FORMULA 1 EXPERIENCE. LOVE THE SPORT.
