Late Prof Dora Akunyili for burial August 28th

Former Minister of Information and Communications, Prof Dora Nkem Akunyili will be buried on August 28, 2014, the family announced today.   

Dr. Chike Akunyili, late prof Dora Akunyili's husband asked anyone who has a tribute or testimonial in honour of Dora to send it by e-mail to amazon4life@doraakunyilionline.org, and people who wish to make enquiries regarding her funeral to call these numbers: 08181333222, 08103198444.

The former Director-General of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), died last Saturday, June 7, after a two-year battle with cancer.

  14. Dora, one of the authentic heroes of the New Nigeria. So sad that at time Nigeria is searching for and needs to harness its true heroes and role models it loses one. May your soul rest in peace as your passage has shown that your country men and women truly desire and celebrate authentic heroes.
