"I am not a match fixer' - footballer Onazi speaks out

Over the weekend, a Nigerian match fixer Henry Chukwuma Okoroji, was caught on camera boasting that he could fix some of Nigeria’s matches at the forthcoming World Cup. (see here). Nigerian/Lazio footballer, Onazi Ogenyi was in the video but is believed not to be involved in the scam. But to make sure people know he's not a match fixer, the footballer took to his twitter page to explain his side of the story. See more photos after the cut...

  4. My brother this is a serious issue and coming after Nigeria has been, accused of match fixing compounds the whole issue the more.
You need to issue a more detailed statement. Wondering why they didn't contact your manager or agent pertaining the endorsement and they came straight to you.

  34. Abeg make we hear word. All these corrupt footballers. That's how under fifa's nose Ejide & the mumu defenders fixed Nigeria/Scotland match and to add insult to injury Keshi supported him & still picked him for d world cup. That shows he's not clean himself. When the fix all d world cup matches and perform woefully, shebi they'll sack him after. Na them wahala. I've stopped giving a damn about nigerian football since
