Northern Elders want FG to negotiate with Boko Haram..

Yesterday, the Northern Elders’ Forum urged the Federal Government to negotiate with Boko Haram for the release of abducted Chibo girls. Do you think FG should, or not?

Infact the federal government should not try it, is it because GEJ is a God fearing man, if it is during the reign of Obasanjo, what is BOkO HARAM? who will try this kind of nonsnce, it will only take him a night to clear the whole of Borno state. I remembered what he did to Zaki ibiam people. Borno state governor is a disgrace to their state, he should resign, he is the mastermind of Boko Haram, they said they are born to rule that's why they want GEJ out , people that cannot speak good English or write good English. They want power by all means, it will not work for them, they are doing in vain, Borno state governor, am sorry for you because one day, the said Boko haram will turn to you, I personally hate you

They are clamouring for negotiation, hasn't the FG proposed to negotiate with those idiots before and they refused, now they northern elders are calling for negotiations because the beast they created has grown bigger than them, and has come back to hunt them, how the government be negotiating with terrorists who have killed thousands of innocent people? What happens to all the innocent life they have wasted? So they will all die in vein! I sorry for Nigeria if they negotiate with boko haram, a more deadliest terrorist group will arise and hunt us

    1. Thank you Bonario you're always on point as long as this BH issue and federal govt is concerned. We lack the balls and the tech not to negotiate with BH,we aint America and we've gotta solve this issue the Nigerian way. After negotiation and the girls are back home, the soldiers should send wizard fire on sambisa and let all of them die there. Our border too should be secured, lemme see where those demons will run to

      Delete
    2. FG shd try and get dem back, but not to negotiate, these children are heroes no matter what come. Out of the rescue plan. I believe nigeria should get it right dis time. Stand your ground do not negotiate with them

    3. Bonita......easier say than done! There is always advantage and disadvantage, I strongly wish for the girls return but if that's the solution to the problem so be it...... We have lost thousands of people if these is not put to an end we still lose more. And what's the guarantee that after the negotiation the BH are going to stop or not bring up another group????????????? FG should not negotiate. My Suggestion

  21. The northern elders forum should seek the answer they find within the northern part of the country there. Their problem is within thirst peripheral..

    ReplyDelete
  22. It not a good idea negotiating with terrorists, the government should think twice before doing that. And trust me whenever they needed anything from government, all they will have to do is to go kidnap again and before you know it Govt itself will be sponsoring BH directly by asking for cash and food in exchange for kidnap victims .....The Fed govt need to just tight up Nigeria Military and fish out the bad eggs among them.I still blv in Nigeria Military

  42. How can the FG negotiate with terrorists? If their grouse is poverty or lack of jobs, it is a different thing. Their grouse reeks of fanaticism and mental health issues; an end to western education and a quest to make the whole nation Muslim. Really? These people are evil, should be prosecuted and punished severely, while being treated for whatever mental health issues they seem to have developed. The FG cannot and should not negotiate with such a group with fundamentalist and medieval ideals.

We Nigerians cannot negotiate with terrorism, if one million plus Nigerians lend their voice and back it with action, BH ll be looking for where to hide. Let Nigerians be the press, those who can give themselves to investigation, let's do random acts of goodness, let's cherish and love the life of every Nigeria irrespective of his/her class or status, the government has not exhausted its option, I feel a shift and this whole issue will give birth to a NEW UNITED NIGERIA if only we won't look for the easy way out and abort the pregnancy God Bless Nigeria

  58. We should not negotiate with Terrorist. They must be punished for all the attrocities committed.

However I doubt the Nigerian government are competent enough to handle the situation.

If only Asari Dokubo was arrested and Jailed for all the crimes he commited in the Niger delta, but government has already started this negotiation nonsense and the likes of Asari and his cohorts gets a pat on the back for crime.

Our message should be clear and simple we don't negotiate with Terrorist, else another one will arise when Boko haram are done and kill innnocent people and expect negotiation and walk around free.

    Darkness can never overcome light.

  59. On what premise pls...

That they kidnapped girls for what reason...?

So why should FG negotiate with them? So the Yorubas and Igbos and others to can kidnap and request FG to negotiate??

Thunder fire all of una in support of the negotiation. IDAIATS* lol

The FG shouldn't negotiate with terrorists they should gradually chase them out of our borders and carefully guard our borders! And let them ALL die awaiting negotiation.

  76. The Northern Elders are sympathetic to Boko Haram. Why are we even considering negotiation? What ??????????????!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  77. we all want our girls back...But the truth be told. If the FG should get to negotiate with BH for the girls , would that stop the terrorism act of the BH? If it wouldn't then we might as well not negotiate. The government should not be so weak to negotiate with them . I might sound callous, brutal or cruel . But the fact remains , if they (the girls) are the sacrifice to the end of terrorism in Nigeria, then what has to be done must be done. What would you say about other victims who have lost their life to this so called terrorist , aren't they children of other parents . I do not mean to sound nonchalant but it is the truth and it hurts ....

  78. How do we have people called the 'Northern Elders' calling shots on national issues? Is this Games of Thrones or what? So we should free terrorists to get back girls so we can be in as much danger as we were before?

But if Naija had tracking devices we could have bugged these prisoners, set them free and tracked them to the Boko camp? A guy can dream.

  79. The government MUST not negotiate. Negotiating with terrorist is never a good idea because what this will mean is the next time their followers or leaders are arrested, they would just kidnap people and ask for negotiation.

    ReplyDelete
  80. No way! We don't negotiate with any terorrist group

    ReplyDelete
  81. Hell NO, u don't negogiate with terrorists. On what grounds. They have a born to rule mentality n so brought up this idea, to continue to rule n we follow. No northern muslim will tell you anything that will benefit u once u are nt practising their religion. These people are evil.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Wait o. Do the Northern elders know these people? Haba all these years we ve been going through the agony of loosing loved ones so these elders knew the terrorists and kept mute. This is a strong indictment on them honestly.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Let our government no even think of negotiation. Those elders are the same people aiding and sponsoring BH. They are looking for a point to be use against FG tomorrow. Govt should fight and win this war let all this so call elders and BH be put to shame. God bless my people..Linda I love you.

  86. Where have they been before now? I guess they are scared of foreign troops coming into Nigeria. Their sins will fetch them out, Hypocrites!

    ReplyDelete
  87. the Federal Government should negotiate and bring the girls back and deal with the terrorists later. Nobody who has a child with the terrorists will say don't negotiate with them. the longer the girls stay with them the more trauma they will be going through. Please let the negotiation be silent it does not have to be a discussion on social media.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Yes, let them negotiate with Boko Haram. But the conditions should be that the North East be ceded to Boko Haram for their Islamic State. I believe that is what the Northern Elders want.

    ReplyDelete
  92. The federal government of Nigeria on this occasion can (cleverly) negotiate and (later double cross Boko Haram and their supporters and helpers) get the kidnapped girls released, but, the governor of Borno State must be permanently "dislodged" by all means necessary or, in so many ways, he will continue to be a nuisance to Nigeria. After whatever negotiations, all those Nigerians and non Nigerians who directly and indirectly collaborated with Boko Haram MUST be held accountable and dealt with severely and permanently. This especially includes those in the intelligence services, armed forces and the police.

Negotiate, but no concession and those that broke the law, murdered people and incited others to hatred, cruelty and murder must be held accountable. They must face the death penalty.

Negotiate not because Boko Haram won or the north has the right to bully Goodluck Jonathan out of office.

I am not a supporter of PDP. I am not a supporter of Goodluck Jonathan, but whatever negotiation with Boko Haram must NOT include Goodluck Jonathan stepping down or not contesting the 2015 election or indirectly handing over power, money or influence or handing over anything to the North. No. That must never happen. Goodluck Jonathan has the right to contest the 2015 election. If Goodluck Jonathan does not want to contest the election, then a Southerner must be the next President.

After all the people northern leaders massacred, they and their unborn children do not deserve to rule Nigeria for another 2,000 years. If Nigeria will break up, so let it be. Northern leaders are cruel and evil to their own people and to all Nigerians. Enough is enough. If the North, Boko Haram or northern leaders feel they deserve to produce the next President, they should do so through the ballot box, and not by intimidation or lawlessness. Those days (that bloody north will dominate and dictate to the rest of Nigeria) are gone.

As for you, Goodluck Jonathan, if you EVER, EVER hand over to any northerner, may history, Nigerians and God NEVER, EVER forgive you.

LASTLY, GEJ, PLEASE, NO POWER SHARING WITH BOKO HARAM OR THE NORTH. NIGERIA HAS ONE PRESIDENT, NOT TWO.

  95. THE GOVERNMENT NEED TO KNOW WHO THEY ARE NEGOTIATING WITH. THE GOVERNMENT MUST NOT NEGOTIATE WITH FACELESS COWARDS. BOKO HARAM SHOULD COME OUT IN THE OPEN WITH ALL ITS LEADERS TO NEGOTIATE.

THE GOVERNMENT CAN NEGOTIATE, BUT BOKO HARAM MUST SURRENDER ALL THEIR WEAPONS, NAME ALL ITS LEADERS, NAME ALL ITS FIGHTERS, LIST ITS BUSINESS ADDRESS AND LIST ALL THE PEOPLE AND COUNTRIES THAT GAVE THEIM FUNDING.

THE GOVERNMENT MUST BE THE DICTATING THE TERMS OF THE NEGOTIATION. NO FOREIGN GOVERNMENT OR ORGANISATION MUST BE ALLOWED TO TAKE PART IN WHATEVER NEGOTIATION. SHOULD THE NEGOTIATION FAIL, THE GOVERNMENT MUST DETAIN AND JAIL ALL THE LEADERS OF BOKO HARAM.

THE NEGOTIATION I WANT FOR BOKO HARAM IS TO SET THEM UP, GIVE THEM FALSE HOPE, STITCH THEM UP, PERMANENTLY. CASE SOLVED.

THEY KNLY WANT TO NEGOTIATE COS OF THE INTERNATIONAL OUTCRY AGAINST THEM. THE GOVERNMENT IS IN A BETTER POSITION NOT TO NEGOTIATE. BOKO HARAM KNOWS THEY HAVE LOST AND CAN NEVER EVER GET ANY PUBLIC OR INTERNATIONAL SUPPORT, HENCE THEY WANT TO NEGOTIATE.

THEY SHOULD BEG FOR FORGIVENESS NOT BE ASKING FOR NEGOTIATION. BOKO HARAM IS LIKE A CAPTURED AND NAKED DISARMED AND CORNERED PICKPOCKET ASKING TO NEGOTIATE. NEGOTIATE WHAT? YOU ARE IN NO POSITION TO NEGOTIATION. YOU SHOULD BE ON YOUR KNELLS BEGGING FOR FORGIVENESS, AND RIGHT NOW, NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT IS WITHIN ITS RIGHTS NOT TO NEGOTIATE WITH BOKO HARAM (aka: AREWA CONSULTATIVE FORUM <== the evil bastards who sponsored numerous Hausa / FULANI led coups in Nigeria)

Infact their father has to run away with them to Kano to settle down. Boko haram is kanuri people making because they allow the Hausa Fulani who are expose to use them to cause havoc in the country. They will be the looser at the end of the day cos their land has been poised with bombs and blood. Its a pity.
