The protest is not to the attentionof Boko haram it is to move foreign governments to help nigeria. understand that for the US to send troops on the ground on an issue like this there needs to be public attention. Obama cannot randomly do that that is why the us assistance is limited to intelligence and strict minimum. So yes people are using the campaign for their own publicity but if they don't the world will not know about it. Obama cannot randomly do that that is why the us assistance is limited to intelligence and strict minimum. If there was that kind of attention on Boko haram from day 1 it would have been handled already.
